Review for Three Roses for Pearl

Julia Johnson is a gifted story teller.  ‘Three Roses for Pearl' pulls at your heart strings from the very beginning until the final page.  It begins with the main character escaping from a life of sadness and severe abuse.  A car crash, which could have been a compounding of her suffering, instead puts her in a small town hospital that changes her life forever.
            Running from her destructive past,
Pearl is on a quest to find her three daughters who were taken from her as they were born.  Now, stuck in a strange hospital to recover from old and new injuries, she is taken in by a town that we all wish we could live in.  Can they help in her quest to find her daughters?  Will her daughters even want to connect with her now that they are grown?  Almost broke and alone, Pearl
begins to meet people who wrap her in the warmth of their love and friendship.  The delightful story unfolds perfectly, and will pull you along from the first page until the last.  This is one of the most delightful stories I have read in a very long time.  Great job!

Imagine being born into a world of love, with a mother and father that completed your circle with their love for each other. Then imagine at the age of 5 your beloved father dieing. Leaving you and watching the world you once felt loved and safe in, shatter and turn into a world of abuse, rape, hate, fear and pure inconceivable terror.
This is how
Pearl's life began.
As you read, “Three Roses for Pearl",  you will feel as if you are being taken on an Emotional Roller-coaster ride, with each page you turn.
Pearl's story goes deep into your psyche, to a point where you will feel compelled to cheer her on as she pushes forward and embraces her second chance at life.
Pearl is found in a small town, where she is rescued from a car accident that begins her twist of fate, thus her second chance begins.
Through her memories of the love that welcomed her into this world she gains a renewed strength which she desperately needs in order to reunite herself with the children once removed from her arms. Roses become
Pearl's symbol of love, even more so, the only connection that joins her love of life before with her life now and the life her children continue after.

Womensselfesteem.com highly recommends: 'Three Roses for Pearl' as not only an extremely well Penned story, full of interesting characters and a very well rounded plot, but more so it is a story of Hope and second chances. Through Julia Johnson's amazing ability to share her story through words, she reveals the true importance of trust, friendships, family and the innate desire to keep moving forward and never stop believing in oneself! This story is a true feel good read and a must for everyone that feels there is no hope or such a thing as a second chance at life! Julia Johnson, I commend you on yet another very inspiring book!

Julia just finished your new book.  Wow!  It is amazing.  It was inspiring.  I hope you will get it   I felt privileged to have been able to read Three Roses for Pearl. Thank you for the honor.  I love the character Pearl and how it was possible for her to love other people even with her really difficult lifetime of experiences. She seemed so cheerful, and not fake.   The first couple of pages caught…my attention immediately and I guess that is pretty important when you are writing a book. It was like I was watching a movie.   Where do all those characters come from anyway?  Organizing all those people and ideas together just seems incredible to me.  It is just magical how you put them altogether in one book.  Your brain must look like New York City during rush hour.   How many people have ideas but never put the work in to create and finish the job?  You are one of those people. Roberta Mc Millian (an avid reader)

Three Roses for Pearl   by Julia Johnson

Not many people are able to read a book as it is being written.

With “Three Roses for Pearl” I had that privilege. Each chapter as it was finished was sent to me by Julia. I found that I became more excited with each chapter I read, Pearl became a friend that I laughed with cried with and hoped with, and she became a real person to me. From the beginning Pearl showed what it is like to overcome our past tragedies, grow within ones-self and become a better person. She teaches the reader never to give up and always seek your dreams. Everyone who reads this book will come away with a new hope in their lives. It is a powerful book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading.

4****+ The Author Julia Johnson possesses a fantastic imagination and creates a real page turner “Three Roses For Pearl” with amazing skill and detailed dialogue throughout her story. “Three Roses for Pearl” tells the tale of a battered woman who courageously leaves a savagely abusive relationship and finds herself waking up from a severe auto accident with no recollection or what she had left behind. As Pearl recovers from her physical injuries, the kind people of the township Gennisis helps her find value in herself with friendship and acceptance that eventually leads to the regaining of her memory and reuniting her with the “Three Roses” she never knew. A great read!

Review from Ghostwriter's

Author: Julia Johnson

"Three Roses For pearl,’ takes the reader through the life of Pearl Jewels Manz, and the trials and tribulations she's had to go through. Pearl goes from being beaten, to being in a car crash that puts a stop to her running in a little place called Town Gennisis. With her memory gone from the accident, she starts to get flashes of her memories back, and realizes that her whole life has been nothing but misery and abuse. She remembers that she had three daughters but was forced to give them up. This book takes you through her life and the progress she makes to find her now full-grown children.

This isn’t a read I’d normally pick for myself, but it surprisingly kept my interest. It’s a really good story, but has many editing issues. Cleaned up, this would be a great read! (3star/out of 5)

I thanked them for there Review and this is what they sent back:

You write great stories Julia, but just read them over a few times before
sending them in for publishing. Editing our own stuff is so hard, as
there always seems to be something we miss- and most family and friends
overlook the issues that others in the reading world might spot. If the
story line was all we needed to rate, you'd be off the chart!
