Picture of pure quality!

Julia Downs 5 - 04
Picture taken November 2006, paddock condition
Another fine example of the sheep I aim to breed!
Clean faced, excellent self-carrige, good shoulders, evenly and deeply muscled throughout the body, long loin, sound confirmation, stands squarely and walks correctly, trim for fat, hind quarters like christmas hams, oozing class and style!
This ram has all of the above, hes an upstanding animal, good strong and so bold and he knows it and shows it as you can see in his picture above, very stylish and hardy animal, one of many I hope to produce!
This ram has been shown at various ages for many prizes including numerous Champion awards, blue ribbons from several royal shows and his most recent acheivement was a second prize placing in a class of 5 rams at Melbourne Royal 2005, he was also called out from his pen to be considered for Reserve Champion, the judge clearly torn between my ram and a ram exhibited Graeme Hooper, Clear Hills Stud.
After long consideration Graemes ram was awarded Reserve Champion, but I was still extremly pleased to be called out and closely considered out of the large number of rams exhibited.
Julia Downs 5 - 04 was one out of only 9 rams the Julia Downs stud bred that year! Such a fine animal from a small selection and other rams born that year were not far behind in the quality of this ram.
Strive for perfection, love for the breed and desire to only breed excellence!
