Cut Stones are made of refined materials found in the village and manufactured here in Jula.

Iron as well in its rawest form is also made within the village thanks to the skillful blacksmiths. These men know how to melt and combine metals and steels with other refined powders making one of the strongest irons on Gor. Such irons are molded into gates, furnitures as well as sheaths for weapons, just to name a few.

Yellow and white salts are imported in from Tyros, it is one of Julas most highly prized commodity.

Horns of every beast is imported from the jungles of Schendi as well as warehouses in Torvaldsland. Horns for mead are pre-crafted on import or are crafted here in the village. Horns of bosks, tabuk, and tarsks are turned into powder and liquid form creating things like combs and leather working tools.

Raw lumber is in abundance in Jula, a shipyard was gifted to the village and a never ending trail of wagons bring more lumber into the yard each day.

Masts for ships are also in abundance as the rencers continue to supply rence plants to the village. The stems of the rence plants enable those in the rence factory to make the strongest sails on Gor.

Pitch tar and Raw clay are two of Julas imports from Turia, although tar is not used much in the village, a large supply is readily avaiable for trade.

Rence Paper

Jula Rence Factory

Jula is one of four suppliers on all of Gor for rence products. The Jula rence factory runs all day and night turning every part of the rence plant into needed materials. Rence paper is made from the fibers of the rence plant, there are 8 grades, laboriously fashioned into sheets, which are attached to each other, into a roll, twenty sheets per roll. Every part of the plants are used, whether to make cloths, paper, fuels and even utensils. The pith of the rence is an edible part of the rence plant, either raw or cooked. Rence pith and fish are the dietary staples of the rence growers, it is also sometimes used for caulking. The root of the rence plant is used to make wooden tools and utensils that can be carved from it also used for fuel. The stem of the rence is used to make reed boat sails, mats, cords and a fibrous cloth. The factory has different sections within that deal with each specific task. Apprentice scribes work in the paper area drawing up legal documents such as joining contracts, deeds, medical charts, manumission papers, etc., which are then stock piled and packaged for transport. Seamstresses work in the cloth area making rep cloths, sheets, medical gowns, sails, cords, etc. Woodsmen work skillfully creating utensils and filling containers of dried root for fuel.

Fauna, Fish & Other Aqautic Life

Since Jula is on the Vosk Delta and has some of the best fishmen on Gor, a large variety of aquatic delicacies are readily available and in large supply. Parsit and Wing fish as well as dock and river eels can be shipped out immediately upon demand.

Vosk carp, sorp, turtles and snails are kept on ice and usually packaged in bulks. Other treats such as gints, blue grunt, and lelt can be found in the various Inns and cafes offered as delicious meals by specialty cooks, but these too can be shipped all over Gor when giving alloted time.

REPTILE SKINS are also available for export trade. Skins of Hiths, Marsh Moccasin, Osts, Marsh shark and River shark and River thalarian.

Vegetables, Fruits & Other Natural Produce

Jula grows its own fruits and vegetables upon the vast expanse of land upon Darks Estate. Many vegetables are grown along the vosk others upon the different trees that have been planted many envars ago. Farmers pay careful attention to the care and treatment of each making sure only the best is grown, picked and distributed to the village and its alliances. Jula supplies all types of berries, apricots, red fruits, melons, larma, peaches, tospit, raisens, and plums just to name a few fruits. Vegetables such as peas, mushrooms, beans, suls, radishes, kort, katch, onions and cabbage are also just a few that is readily available.

Specialty items such as bee honey is in ample supply.

Herbs and Flora

Jula has a vast supply of herbs too numerous to even list. Herbs are grown in Jula as well as traded from the forests and different isles. Greenhouses are bursting at the seams with herbs and plants used for medicines, ointments, cooking, oils and many other items. The gardens of Jula were planted with the rebirth of Jula and can be seen in various locations of the village. Each garden contains different plants and flowers that are continuously replanted and the seeds collected for packaging. Plants and flora can be shipped in bulk, full grown, in its early stages as well as seedlings. Some of the plants are leech plant, rence, sa-tarna, teslik, sip root, talendar, dina, kalana, rep, flaminium, festal, brak bush, and clover. Some trees in root stages are ka-la-na, flower, cocoa tree, tem, tur, tor and tes.

Brews

Jula is a village of people who enjoy good wine, food and paga.

Pagas, and beers are brewed right here in the village and stored appropriately for use within the village or for export.

Weapons

Weapons Shop

Jula has several blacksmiths, metal workers and a reputable weapons shop. Any and all weapons can be brought within the village and made here. There is a warehouse stocked with various weapons for export as well as the village defenses. Some of the weapons available are: Bolas, Goads (slave and tarn), Horn bows, Short (bone) bow, Great (peasant) bows, Spiked hand wraps, Tridents, Crossbows (regular and calvalry) , Daggers, Quivers, long bows, double edged short swords, broad swords, Killing/Hook/Whip/Sleen/Tarn Knives, harpoons, spears, and various types of steel arrowheads and shafts.. single, double, and triple barbed.

Jula also has shields and helmuts available.

Birds & Mammals

Because of the large expanse of land the village resides on, there is plenty of property to farm and house many birds and mammals. One of Julas residents started his collection envars ago of different aviary species and animals, and as with any reserve wildlife multiplies. There are more birds and animals in the village that is needed and trade for such is greatly suggested each time. The birds not only populate cities bringing variety and color, they also help with vermon and insect problems. Mammals are wonderful suppliers of milks and cheeses as well as meats and other uses.

Medical Supplies

Jula has its own clinic and a warehouse stocked with medical supplies from herbs, medications, salves, oiltments, balms, slave and breeding wines, tinctures, and a large supply of instruments, most of which are crafted within the village itself. Jula also maintains large quantities of medicals gowns, rep cloth, and linens due to the rence factory that manufactures them. Medical documents are also available and in high demand. Certain medical utensils such as scopes, breathing apparatus, tubes, syringes, bulbs, pen lights, IVs, walking sticks, trays, shears, clamps, just to name a few are also available. Machines used for maintaining ones life is limited but in stock, as well as beds, monitors, prenatal warmers, and surgical equipment.
