The Goals of Juel's Pinehaven Kennels
For more than 20 years, I have been planning for, preparing for and learning about breeding exceptional White German Shepherd Dogs. In 1996 my dreams became reality with the creation of Juel's Pinehaven Kennels. In 1997 I brought into this world my first litter! What fascination - to watch your dreams wiggle and squirm their way into this world! Each little body moving and vying for attention. And attention they are receiving - the two I chose to carry on the line I created have been winning in the ring since they were 16 weeks old! Both have achieved Best of Breed at young ages and finished their Championships with ease! Juel's Dream Come True and Juel's Dakota Dream Catcher together make up the "Dream-Team" from my first litter. 
My second litter - repeat breeding - followed the same footsteps! What pleases me is the consistency of these litters - uniform in conformation, structure, angles, and temperment. Dakota has two Championship titles, Dreamer has one and 15 points in the WGSDCII (those 15 points were all 3 pt majors!) Little sister Luna has two Championships and is a certified Therapy Dog actively visiting nursing homes. Apollo has two Championships and has gone Best in Specialty Show, many Best of Breeds, and group wins in UKC!
Bellagio and Donzi are both International Champions with the IABCA.

June 24, 2001 -- APOLLO AND LUNA TOOK THE SHOW! Under the esteemed GSD judge, Fred Lanting, Apollo went WD, BOW, Select 1, Best of Breed, Best in Specialty Show! His littermate, Luna, went WB, BOS, Select 1 at Specialty Show, and Grand Victrix! Needless to say, I am very proud of my babies for their performance and the showing of the true GSD structure, temperment and character! Located in the beautiful rural setting of Britt, Minnesota, Juel's Pinehaven Kennel produces exceptional puppies for exceptional owners. We are proud members in good standing of AKC, UKC, WGSDCA, Northern Horizon WGSDCA. Our puppies are beautiful and healthy with excellent genetic dispositions and raised in an environment which then develops a great disposition! We're always striving to improve upon perfection! My goal in breeding is to breed the total dog, not just looks. The beauty of the breed is a result of the whole package - structure, movement, health and temperment. Without any one component, the dog is incomplete. I will not compromise any one component for just beauty or pigment or angulation. And most of all Juel's Pinehaven Kennels will never compromise temperment! Our mission is to breed with integrity for the "WHOLE DOG" - without compromise. 
Our puppies thrive on the fresh country air in their 1 acre fenced area and in the house (they are not raised in kennels), and we raise them with liberal amounts of tender loving care. Our dogs are carefully checked for health problems prior to breeding including hips and all of our breeding dogs are OFA certified or pre-limmed. Puppies are vet-checked, vaccinated and de-wormed, and are sold on a contract which protects the buyer, seller and dog. We guarantee each puppy's hips and health. Pet quality dogs are sold on a limited registration and spay/neuter contract which stipulates that verification of altering must be received within 6 months for females and 14 months for males.
Each and every puppy that we bring into this world is very important to us, and we are careful to screen all potential puppy buyers to ensure that they are able to offer a loving, knowledgeable, capable and permanent home. We screen for home quality, breed knowledge, willingness to learn, willingness to train the dog and devotion to providing a safe, secure and loving home for the pup. We offer plenty of post-sale support to new owners and encourage our puppy buyers to keep in touch with us!
