ONE DANCE, ONE KISS, AND THEN, FOREVER

Please come, join me in the dance,

Oh pretty señorita with your eyes so blue.

Come, and let me captivate you, let me

take you to a place you’ve never seen.

I shall look deeply into those azure eyes,

that brought me to your side, smile your smile for me alone.

Let us move in sensual rhythm, to the music in your mind.

Be beguiled my lovely, fragile one,

Be mine forever more, please, smile for me again.

Walk by my side forever,

Never leave me, join my eternal soul.

As I saw you walk across the floor,

Your skirt softly rustling, I was enamoured

in a moment, I knew you must be mine.

Now, as I whirl you round the floor,

you are breathless, lost, entranced,

And, as the night grows ever longer, ever darker,

So you are slowly falling under my spell, becoming mine....

Oh, how I love your smile.

And when the moment comes, when the dance itself must end,

Let me lead you by the hand, walk with me in the garden green,

Lean upon my arm, let me be your guide, feel the pulsing beat of my heart

As we softly entwine in love.

Let me be all that you seek, all you shall ever need,

Let me feel your lips as one with mine,

And as the first kiss beckons us to our destiny.

I shall love you as no other can, come, see the sun rise in my arms,

When the dance is over, when our lives begin anew.....

Aztec Poems

I have no joy, I have no gladness,

The earth does not fill me.

I have suffered sorrows in the world.

The earth has only been lent to us,

Tomorrow, or the day after

The giver of life will beckon us to his home.

 -------------------------------------------------

Is it true that we have come to live upon the earth?

Are we to live on earth forever?

Only a fleeting moment here!

Even the precious stones crumble,

Even gold cracks and breaks.

Even the shining feathers are torn.

Are we to live on earth forever?

Only a fleeting moment here!

 --------------------------------------------------

Have you grown weary of your servants?

Are you angry with your servants?

O Giver of life?
