Ok, so lets get real for a little bit and I want your response in the box below after this, because this page is as much yours as anyone elses, because today I feel inspired. If you want to know the full story.... read the first two paragraphs.... if not, feel free to skip ahead.

I think graduation blues brought me down this week, because there was definitely something dark nagging at my shoulder, something that wouldn't leave me be. Worse yet, my favorite online webcomic, something that always has joke, was running a serious bit and the author wrote some things that really got to me. It's here if you want to take a look at it. It didn't help that I had a "shouting reconciliation" with a best friend of mine, someone who means more in the world to me while Konstantine by SoCo played in the background.... it was deep and I'm glad we had it, because it made things better.

Fast-forward to Friday, the funk was still there, as a friend and I discussed where we've been and what's happened junior year on a Kairos level during the run. Then I went to a party and found the opposite of Kairos, but thats a different story for another time. All it did was drag me down. So I woke up this morning hating people. To the point of the story, it led to me hating everything I once was, and everyone I was once involved with. As I sat on a ledge, I came to the conclusion that Songbird must be destroyed, this story was now an evil thing, and I could do it the best honor and just burn it all now before it got worse. Even though my night got better, the idea stayed fresh in my mind. And then came a letter. A letter that I thought had terrible timing..... but something in that letter set me off, something I can't mention for the reasons that some of you know.

So here's my Thank You, here's my way of entering my own tale. Part 3 is the journey's end. We all know what has to happen. Senior Year is our Journey's End, we all know that we'll graduate. I guess what I most want to stress, is that we can't make it alone. Where would my character be without Maddie's or Allie's? Where would Pat's be without Katie's or DMacs? Where would Lauren's be without Loreal's, or any of her other close friends. You can quote me on this: Life's far too short to waste it on petty drama. It's far too short to exclude someone. The final chapter, our final year, we move together. Some call a world where everyone loves each other a "fantasy" world, I call it a goal. We all can start right now, today. We can be a little less selfish and a little less selfless, call up the kid who's sitting home alone and invite him/her to the party. Hates a double edged sword, and it'll consume you if you let it. Today you can live, todays the day you make a better tomorrow for yourself. Take control of your destiny. -The Writing Writer, Joe Lanciano

  • 2/19 So a little late to be putting a new update in haha, but I can't be on this thing all the time you know? If you haven't seen it yet, check out Stiefel's "Band of the Week" on the left, that needs updating as well (lazy brit). But it's a pretty neat feature. Also, if any of you admire the background to this website like I do.. (I oogle it every time I load this puppy up.) check out it, and various other pictures at my good friend Jesi Gine's website: http://jxgine.weebly.com/. Possibly one of the coolest people I know. Well, I'm gonna go finish the Dark Tide series. So uh, ciao for now!
  • 2/02 Hey so I figure the feed needs some updating. This is the third, yes, count it, third attempt at revitalizing my website. Why? Because I want to make this about more then just Songbird. I want this to be a place for everyone. So I am now extending space on my website to anyone who wants it. We'll see what else I can do here. = P. Enjoy.
