It all started about a month after our arrival in Cerrillos when we decided that we needed a place for Aline (my wife) to create her art. Although we both love horses we opted to convert the barn into a working artist's studio and gallery.
I had the tools and at that time, the time and commitment to begin what was to take nearly eight months to finish. I started with four cinderblock walls and a roof, a dirt floor and the residue of the two horses that had occupied the three attached stables (now they are workshops). We renovated South Western Style and used rough cut lumber for the ceiling and the interior walls.
I specialize in fixing other peoples mistakes however I also do finish carpentry, hang doors, make thresholds, paint, frame, decks and much much more
