After a 7 year break we are back! Aristo Stud Cavies is restocking with purebred exhibition standard Rex, Teddies and cross bred pets and will breeding and producing good quality show stock.

Now based in Mid Somerset between Taunton & Bridgwater.

Rex Cavies are still in our opinion the best breed of cavy in terms of personality, temperament and hardiness. For those who are new to the breed they have thick, plush but harsh coats with adorable teddy bear like faces.

They come in the following four categories for exhibition purposes:

Agouti - Silver, Cinnamon, Golden, Lemon and Cream

Agouti-Bi Colour - as above but with one of either white, gold or cream

Solid Colour - White, Black, Gold, Cream, Chocolate

AOC (any other colour) - any combination of Agouti tri colour, solid bi-colours, dalmation, roan, himalayan

Although at present we do not have any purebred rex or teddies available we are currently breeding and usually have cross bred pets available. As rex are selected for exhibition and breeding some offspring will be for sale. Although we anticipate a waiting list will be likely please do email or phone for details as stock may come available at short notice. We may also be able to source good quality stock for you at local shows so please do get in touch to see if we can kelp. We intend to post details of available stock on the website with photos.

With years of successfully breeding and showing exhibition Rex we are happy to provide advice and guidance to newcomers and also offer advice on general feeding, husbandry and basic healthcare of guineapigs.
