Own Production

As well as working with various groups and organisations, I also have my hand in written, producing and presenting content myself. The clips and extracts below are either produced 'in house' by myself or with a team. In some situations, these are then linked to the companies I work for (for example, the interview for Brooklands Radio).

Interviewing

In May 2015, I was lucky enough to interview the lovely Christina Bianco (http://www.christinabianco.co.uk/) for her London show 'Party of One'. Working with Brooklands Radio, the interview was not only broadcast on air but was turned into a 35 minute video interview, available on YouTube. This was my first ever face-to-face interview of its kind and I was very pleased with the result! A big thanks to Jerome (who filmed this video) and to the ever-professional and hilarious Christina for her part in this.

My second video interview for Brooklands Radio was for the 'Rockbox Guildford' climbing facility at Guildford Spectrum. Again, this video was filmed by a friend of mine and was then edited and put together by me. The interview was broadcast on air for the Rockbox's 3rd birthday celebrations and was then released on YouTube too. It was a lot of fun trying some more adventurous interviewing and as always, a huge thank you to Jerome (who filmed it) and Katherine (who was interviewed and let us have a climb!)

Live Events and Compèring

I have hosted a variety of live events over the past few years including:

- Kingston University Charity Revue (March 2013)
- Annual May Fair at St Saviours' Church, Raynes Park (2011-present)
- Community Events with Brooklands Radio (2013-present)
- Bell Farm Primary School May Fair, Hersham (2015 - 2016)
- Haslemere Food Festival (2017)
-West Horsley Place Food Festival (2017)

Each of these events require research, meeting with clients and of course, personality and entertainment! With television presenting being an ambition for the future, I enjoy taking part in these events and therefore, would love to continue doing more events and bigger functions!

Audio Media

After a background in radio, audio media is most promiment in my work. I regularly produce podcasts, mock shows and other audio clips for various uses. Some of these are available below.

90 SECOND NEWS - January 2013

This podcast contains an episode of '90 Second News', my own format which provides listeners with a bitesize morsel of news to enjoy on the go. Aimed at a wide demographic, the stories in this 'Sunrise' podcast contains a round up of the morning's stories and would be released for download at 6am. I have worked on the format and produced ideas for 6 daily bulletins with extra website and publishing ideas alongside. If you want to discuss these with me, then contact me through the form on the website.

JP INTRODUCES - December 2012

This podcast contains an episode of 'JP Introduces'. This 35-minute show is an own production which features a local unsigned and upcoming musician who is also my younger brother Joseph! The format allows listeners to interact live with the show and ask questions to the artist, whilst enjoying three songs over the cast, two of which are performed live in the studio. In this episode, the final song is a duet between Joe and I ... I apologise in advance! :)

Video Media

Be it short 'behind-the-scenes' videos to 'ice bucket challenges' or even a music video, I have been able to direct, shoot and edit some great little videos in the past couple of years. Although my equipment is nothing special, I have enjoyed working with different equipment and set ups to obtain our footage and then spending time in the editing quite polishing it out.

Below are two examples of recent VTs I have produced and the music videos are available on request as it features colleagues at school and is therefore kept private!

Written Media and Journalism

In the past, I have worked as a columnist for a Big Brother fansite and this was my first taste of written media. Since then, I worked on newspaper and magazine design and journalism during my A Level in Media. Moreover, I used to research, write and present my own live news bulletins during my radio shows for The Mix Radio (2 per show). More recently, I produce and present my own weather and travel during my Brooklands Radio shows and during my recent 'Surrey Sunrise' stint, I produced the daily 'Local News Update' section. Our station's national news is provided by Sky's IRN.

All of the content on this website is written by myself too which is no easy task!
