Joel Bertucci Hazelgrave Nunns Barr Hastings View from the gaffer Broadway came into this match hoping to finally achieve back to back victories for the first time this season. Tony Sykes returned to the squad after his Thailand trip but due to sore gums settled to the bench as did Eddy wade after hols.Marshall returned to the midfield and Joel started on the left for his full debut. On a hot hard pitch ,the visitors had the better start testing the home keeper with a free kick also a scuffed shot which was turned round the post. With 20 mins gone the 1st goal was scored ,Joel was left in space and he curled in a blinder from 20 yards to open the scoring,it was soon 2 has Bertucci headed in from a dyson corner .By this time cracks were appearing in the visitors defence ,after further confusion in the visitors defence Hazelgrave stole in to net a 3rd.Broadway were cruising and looking to score at every opportunity,however their pacy winger was causing problems for the home side and taylor did well to turn his low drive round the post. The 2nd half started as the 1st half finished with broadway completely dominant,Sykes replaced Costa to combat their pacy winger,the game was put out of reach when Barr was rewarded for his endevour with the Broadways 4th.It became 5 when Nunns continued his fine goalscoring form with a disputed goal which he claimed despite the last touch coming of a defender. After some class premier league corners!!! of Dyson ,Hastings joined in the scoring with a neatly taken goal on the volley . Apart from the visitors having a 1-1 with the keeper which was smartly pushed onto the post after their 16stone forward outpaced Bertucci! The visitors didn't pose any problems to the Broadway defence. To be fair the score could have been more but lets hope Dyson has saved his shooting for his forthcoming wedding. Next we host Pudsey and lets hope we can repeat this performance.
