"I believe that education is all about being excited about something. Seeing passion and enthusiasm helps push an educational message." - Steve Irwin - The Crocodile Hunter
This is my first year with the Montello School District and I am excited to share my love for science with the students of Montello. This website is a valuable tool for students and parents to stay in touch with what is going on in the classroom. Project due dates, assignments, quiz and assessment dates will all be posted on the class link.
Students if you miss a day of class due to illness or extracurricular activities please look on the website to make sure you don't miss anything. It is your responsibility to make up any assignments that was missed in your absence. If you have any questions about assignments please let me know so we can set up a time that I can help you. I am available before school and after school to help you with any questions you have.
Parents here is a place where you can find out what is actually going on in class, when projects are due and when tests are coming up. Please feel free to call or send me an email if you have any questions regarding your student.
My classroom rules are very simple:
1. Be respectful to everyone (inappropriate language and actions will not be tolerated)
2. Be responsible for your actions (missing and late assignments are your responsibility)
3. Be safe when in the laboratory (no horseplay will be allowed in lab - you will receive a 0 for participation that day)

The first week of class students will bring a safety contract home for the parents to sign. Please read this because safety in a science classroom is very important. If a safety violation occurs during a lab they will lose safety points that is part of the assignment grade.
