Teal is just the best dog to live with. She is really well behaved, so easy going and laid back. If we are sitting down then Teal is sitting either right next to us, or actually on us.

It doesn't take much to get her bouncing around though, she loves to play and can get rather over-excited! She does not have a mean thought about anyone or anything, but she is not over the top friendly like some who will remain nameless (Tan)

Teal is just about our idea of the perfect Border Collie, she is quiet when we are, but more than ready to go when we get up, she is our big blue bear.

You can read about the rest of her family here.

Teal had a fantastic first season at agility, her first show was WBSDS on March 31st 2007, where she won a 1st and a 3rd.

During 2007, on her way up to grade 6, she also qualified for the 'Tuff Stuff' final (three times!), the 'Adams Derby' final and the 'KC Olympia Novice' semi final with Joy, the 'Genesis Novice Jumping' final twice - once with Joy and once with Becca, and the 'International Young Handler Final' at the Kennel Club International Festival with Becca.

She won over 30 classes in 2007.

She also won the Agility Club Grade 3 League for 2007, AND the Agility Eye Midlands Grade 3 2007 award - clever Doodle :)

She started 2008 in Grade 6, and had her first win, in G6 Jumping with Becca handling at Dordale. This win, plus a 2nd in G6 Agility that she won the same day, gave her enough points for her Gold Agility Warrant.

She and Becca qualified for an Olympia Semi-Final on only their second attempt.

Following several wins, including a C6/7 Agility win at Supadogs and a G6 Jumping win at the KC International Festival, a win in Combined 6/7 Agility at Trent Park won her into Grade 7 (Advanced), two weeks before her 3rd birthday.

Despite some concerns over how she would fare in G7, she has started 2009 really well, and has already won several G7 classes, Jumping and Agility, and qualified for Olympia at Christmas with Becca - we are very proud of our Doodle!
