| Mission Statement | The main mission
for the creation of this
site was to introduce English-speaking readers to the poetry of Joumana
Haddad. Most of Joumana's writings are in Arabic, and the process of translating all of her works to other languages would take too much efforts and time. Thus, I thought of developing this site, to gather what is available of her poetry in English in one place, to avail it to readers and others who can't read in Arabic, to experience what I assume a wonderful new style of writing and a way of thinking. |
