Who, you may ask, is Joris Jarsky?

Well, Joris is a little known actor who has a huge amount of talent! Good guys, bad guys, somewhere-in-between guys, it doesn't matter. Joris can play them all! Although his name isn't instantly recognizable, many of you out there will have seen him. He's popping up on everywhere on TV and in movies.

Subtlety is Joris's calling card, with appealing yet ordinary looks, he can play an average Joe, the kind of man you'd pass on the street, to larger than life characters you couldn't possibly miss! (*lol* Just think of the irrepressible Marty in "Vampire High" and you'll know what I mean.) I'll endeavour to locate as many images of his roles as I can and upload them here.

The young Canadian made his debut on the small screen in the mini-series "Nuremberg" (blink and you'll miss him!) and quickly graduated to a starring role in the gone-but-not-forgotten cult series "Vampire High". Joris' abilities have earned him small roles in more and more TV series and movies. So far, overall, he's still a bit player and is improving every time he hits our screens.

Whatever is needed, he plays his roles with such delicate nuances that you believe this man is who he is portraying. As time is going on, those in the movie industry are beginning to let him shine with wonderful and entertaining results. To date, one of his best and largest movie roles was in "Foolproof", a brilliant heist movie with a twist, where he is so convincing that he steals almost every scene he's in.

I noted that there was a sad lack of sites out there for Joris, considering his pedigree of sharing the screen with the big names like Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds. Sure, there are references in to him as secondary to other actors here and there, but no fansites. So I decided to try to redress the balance and here is the result!

This humble site is dedicated to all things connected with Joris and his works. I'll try to create as compehensive a catalogue of his roles and performances, from stage to screen, as I possibly can. And I'll also track down interviews with him - and hopefully there will be many more on the way!

Please, feel free to wander where you will and enjoy your stay! And don't forget to sign my guestbook if you like what you see! *smiles*
