Prof. Sibal, Chairman of the UP SOLAIR Turns Gold Anniversary, welcomes the participants at the Isabelo de los Reyes auditorium. At the presidential table were former UP ALEC/IIR Dean Manuel Dia, UP President Emerlinda Roman and former ALEC Director and Justice Flerida Ruth Pineda-Romero.
UP SOLAIR Professors file complaint against the former dean
SEVEN professors of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City filed a graft and malversation complaint against the dean of the UP School of Labor and Industrial Relations before the Office of the Ombudsman...The seven professors who filed the case against Palafox were Marie Aganon, Virgel Binghay, Bonifacio Macaranas, Rene Ofreneo, Jorge Sibal, Geodicio Sison and Virginia Teodosio. Prof. Jorge V. Sibal is appointed 8th Dean of UP SOLAIR
UP Diliman Chancellor Sergio S. Cao, assisted by Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Lorna Paredes, administered the Oath of Office of UP SOLAIR Dean Jorge V. Sibal for 2005-2008 on August 25, 2005. Dean Sibal is Dean of the School up to 2008.
