We, the students, friends and faculty of the Oakmont Regional High School invite you to join us on May 10, 2008 for the First Annual Jordyn Taylor Kalagher Field Hockey Benefit and Fun Day. We are putting this event together to honor the memory of our friend, with the activities she loved, and raise money for the scholarship fund which has been established in her name. Jordyn was a junior here at Oakmont, known and loved by all who knew her, her bubbly personality and contagious smile will forever be in our memories. Jordyn passed away on December 11, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on her way to work. Her death has brought not only our school and community closer together, but also other schools and their communities, the loss of someone so bright and with so much to give has truly been a tragedy. As they say, something good must come out of something bad, hence, here we are….this is our way of celebrating Jordyn’s life and memory with fun and laughter, everything she loved. All proceeds will go to The Jordyn Taylor Kalagher Scholarship Fund and Jordyn’s family will have the opportunity to choose the lucky student/s the scholarships will go to.
