Dam - Berringama Wandas Coco (Coco) Sire - Braeloch Wedgewood Blue (Bert)
Bert & Coco had seven beautiful black/white babies on 23/09/2006. We named them Rex, Fly, Ferdy, Babe, Sweep, Arthur & Dutchess. All named from the characters of the motion picture BABE. Fly was adorable and turned into one of the loveliest dogs we have ever produced. She went to a wonderful family that had a small farm with lots for her to do every day!. I got the dreaded phone call telling me of the tragic death of our much loved girl Fly (Sheeba) on the 4th March 2009. Our Fly was killed in front of her property in a truck accident, she was apparently protecting her property from stray dogs that had been roaming around outside of the main gates for a few days. Her owner Peter blamed himself for not closing the main gates at night but Sheeba had never not once left the boundaries of her beloved property without her master being with her. So we say goodbye to our beautiful girl Fly and hold her in our hearts for all eternity.

~ CADBURY ~
~ Caylith Hearts Desire CDX~
We started off in 1978 with Australian Cattle Dogs which we bred and showed amongst top competition at the time. In February of 1994 I lost my favourite ACD a male boy, he was very special he was only four and a half years old at the time and it was heartbreaking.
The last thing I really wanted that year was a new dog, but my partner had his mind set on acquiring a chocolate Border Collie from Caylith Kennels. We could recall Ch. Thurina Red Ruffian, which was being shown back in our early days with ACD's. (Although a chocolate back then you had to register them as reds)
Cadbury as we called him arrived by plane on Melbourne Cup day of 1994. On arriving home he dived under the dining room table and proceeded to try and mate my old 14 year old ACD!!!
He was a happy pup and gave us many a laugh, I can recall that he had a real thing about brushes, whether it was the dustpan brush or the scrubbing brush he would happily present them all to you. I can remember one time he proudly marched through the living room with the toilet brush in his mouth! We had a house full of visitors at the time!
Training began for his CDX, but he wasn’t a brilliant retriever and it took quite a while for him to confidently trot out and retrieve the dumbbell. It took quite a while for him to attain his CDX title, but we finished with a couple of 1st places.

~ Magic ~
~ Australian Ch Deitmahr Call Me Madam ~
Magic was what we called her as she was good at getting out of her yard as a puppy!!. We thought that Houdini was too much of a boys name for her so Mag as we nic named her stuck! (all of our dogs get nic names in our house, it's a bit of fun!!).
We took her to see Danielle Inverno from Sashdan Kennnels when she was about 7 weeks old, and she told us that she should do well in the show ring. She wasn't wrong, our Magic wasn't a group winner or an in show winnner but she slowly got her Championship title at the age of nine at our local shows. Wicke one of our friends who helped along the way to get her title ,when I was in the ring with one of the other girls I gave her to Wicke to show for me as I knew that she would do as was asked of her in the ring.
She only ever had one litter of puppies, I thought I was going to have plenty of time to get a pup from her but after the kelpie got to her and we had the pups put to sleep she never had any pups again (we think she thought I'd do it again?).Magic was a joy to own and she even talked to the boys and me, she knew when it was teatime and I could trust her with any pup that I had at the time with her in her life.
Even at nearly 12 you wouldn't have known her age as she looked so good!. But on that sad day it was so hot and it didn't do her any favors so I knew in my heart it was time. So now she is with her Mum Ch Deitmahr Asti Spumanti and her Grandmother Crestvale Dukes Fantasy at the rainbow bridge.
Magic is going to be sadly missed by us all, and I just await the day when I have her ashes back, so that she can come home to our property where she was born and grew up with us.
