It's rumored that Jordan has approached VH1 with an idea for a new reality show.  The idea is that famous music artists would do surprise (un-announced) appearances at small town venues, playing with local bands backing them.  Apparently Jordan came up with the idea when he recently stopped by Kelly O'Lou's Pub in Crown Point, IN and the local band playing invited him to sing.  Jordan ended up performing five songs, which resulted in a noise ordinance violation.

Jordan has been approached to do a reality tv show in the UK.  If he chooses to do the show, it would film in June and air in September.

Jordan and Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees will be doing a tour of Europe in September.  The tour will take place in 15-18 Hard Rock Cafe's in various countries.  So far Jordan's official website has confirmed that the tour will stop in Rome, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Madrid and Copenhagen.  The upcoming House of Blues tour will include Jordan, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Michael Copon (Felix on One Tree Hill), Dan Miller of O-Town and Justin James.  Please see the JK Tour dates page for dates and locations of currently scheduled shows.

In a recent interview with Hot Vibes, the magazine asked Jordan what he thinks he will be doing twenty years from now.  Jordan is quoted as saying "I'll probably be living in Florida on the beach sipping a Corona chillin'.  Staying away from the phone because Chad is gonna try to keep me on tour".  Imitating Chad in 20 years, Jordan says "We've got old folks homes lined up across the country, they're gonna crowd them in.  We're bussing old folks in".

Remember when we were all expecting Jordan's second solo project to be released by Interscope back in 2001?  Well for those of you who don't know the deal on why that didn't happen, here is what Jordan told the Detroit News recently.  "Because of Napster and all of that, they (Interscope) went through major, major cutbacks.  We had a single picked out and ready to go.  I was ready to film my music video, and they said we're going to cancel the project, along with laying off tons of employees and tons of artists who got pretty much canned.  So we were right there ready to go, everything ready, the photography and everything.  Then I went to a different company (Trans-Continental), signed a deal and they wouldn't let me use any of the material I had recorded while I was with Interscope.  Actually, I was really mad and I was really kind of afraid to part ways with all that material and have to come up with all new material because it's always a challenge to come up with new stuff.  But I am happy now that I've done it and I've got a whole new record.  I'll get my revenge".

I say, you go Jordan!!

The JK staff is searching for street team captains in major US cities to promote the release of Jordan's upcoming new album.  Captains would be responsible for handing out flyers, putting up posters and getting the word out on the street in their area.  They will get free concert tickets to shows in their area, a signed album and exclusive meet and greets with Jordan.  This position would report to Jennifer Zimmerman with Z International Entertainment, LLC.  To be selected as an area rep, please email zinternational1@aol.com and make sure you put Street Team in the subject line.
