Donations of money, food, clothing and household items are gratefully accepted.
All donations must be dropped off during business hours Monday thru Friday
from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Please do not drop off mattresses, box springs,tevlevisons,
computer monitors etc. as we are charged to dispose of them.
Donations of clothes and household items should be in a saleable condition.
If you would not purchase it, no one else will.
Our costs of disposal run high as we continue to fill our dumpster with
merchandise and clothes that will not benefit anyone.
The cost of disposal negates the benefit of proper donations.
Tax receipts for donation are available upon request.
Donations of Furniture
Furniture donations are welcome but require prior contact with the center.
Please do not discard furniture in
front of the Jonnycake store. Again, our cost of disposal negate the benefit of proper donations.
Clothing / Household Items to Thrift Store
The thrift store serves several functions. The revenue from the sales of
donated items supports the operating costs of the Center which is open
to the general public for shopping.
Low-income families (with a voucher) can shop at little or no cost to them.
Clothing and household items are clean and reasonably priced .
The towns of Westerly, Charlestown, Richmond and Hopkinton are
serviced by the Bradford Jonnycake Center
