Isle of Man Improvised Music was set up in early 2001 by Island-based musician Jon Sanders to give melodic and creative Improvising musicians a chance to be heard, both via recordings and live performance at sympathetic local venues...
Jon believes that all types of music can find a niche on the Isle of Man. With support and interest from like-minded musicians and listeners alike, this 'living' music can be given proper and much overdue exposure.
