After a weekend or so of putzing around doing little maintenance type things, my wife decided she'd had enough.  "You're gonna make it all pretty and everything and then leave me for a younger woman, a mistress".  After this remark I told her "this IS my mistress!".  And thus the name was born.

She's an '88 Kawasaki EX500A  (much younger than my wife!).    I bought her used back in February, at a very good price.   She came with an extra fairing(NEW!!!)  and a new cowl.  So far she hasn't been a major dent in the pocket, just odds and ends. Replaced one of the turn signal lenses,  and one of the turn signals.  Painted the exhaust, put the cowl on, and added the red wiring covers.  Next steps are a rear fender eliminator, rear sets, clip-ons, a bigger rear tire, and some custom paint.   But that all comes later, right now I wanna RIDE!!!
