Dear JonasBrothers101 friends and visitors,
You probably could have guessed this from my lack of updating, but my heart and my time isn't into the site anymore. I update here and there, but if I really wanted to keep it up, I would be trying my hardest all the time. I'm not doing that at all. It's been a very low effort on my part and I'm sorry. I keep feeling like a failure about that and I don't think everyone should have to deal with someone who's heart isn't in it. Fans deserve better.

So my announcement. .. I'm shutting down JonasBrothers101. The site has had a great run for 3 1/2 years, and I want to end it now before it ends up sitting there for years untouched. I'll never forget all the great things that has come from the site and how many good friends I now have. I hope we can all stay friends for a really long time to come. I will be shutting down the site and it's affiliates (JB101 twitter, JB101 group, etc) by the end of this week.

As for the Jonas Brothers, I still love the guys a ton and I hope the best for them on their rising career. I will still be keeping track of how they are doing, but I'm not sure if I'll be going to more concerts of theirs or not. To be honest, I enjoyed the good ol' days when shows were more intimate and you could talk to them for however much time you wanted after the show. Now, it's like Disney's trying to get every cent they can through them before they inevitably bite the dust. I'm not being harsh, that's what happens with major labels. If you no longer succeed, they throw you to the curb. (Let's just hope they succeed for a long time).

One last thing: I am continuing with my support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and I will be running a separate blog (functioning as a website) about how you can be a part of Team Waiting For A Cure. I'm still working on adding everything and getting it completely functional, but you can visit it HERE.
