you gave me a home, saw how i could be
you cared,you loved,you nurtured me
you saw through my pain and all my strife
you gave me love and a wonderful life.
throughout the years you were the one
who made me happy, made life fun.
but as time went on,my bones grew sore and i couldn't jump around much anymore.
I lost my sparkle and you could see that it wasn't how i wanted to be
You held me close and whispered low,we both knew it was my time to go.
be happy for me,don't shed many tears,
just remember the love we shared through the years
I'm free now mum, from all my pain and i know once more we'll meet again.

ODENNA WHAT A MIRICLE
my little boy was so strong he didn't even get his proper name odenna what a miricle was going to be his name if he had survived and we would have kept him titch as we named him born 15-4-07 pts 24-4-07 he was only 8 days old he was a fighter born at 1lb but went down to 13 oz at 3 days old and didn't gain any weight for 5 days. So i decided with help from philippa/pat and karen to let my little titch go to rainbow bridge where i know he will grow big and strong
 aged 6 days
the day i took the hard decision aged 8 days

Ch Grindales Lucy in the Sky at Garshera -3cc 5
rcc jw August 2nd 1991 -Sept 14 2004
Those who knew lucy i am sad to let you know she passed away on the 14-9-04 Margaret and Peter have wrote the following
Margaret and Peter were devasted. It seems so unfair that after she recovered so well from her operation for tortion just a few weeks ago and the way she was valianty coping with CDRM that we should discover she had inoperable cancer of the liver. This crul turn of events was a 'mountain too high' and sadley we had to let her go. She lies buried amoung trees in our garden. She gave us so much, both as our constant compaion for 13 years and in the showring where she has achieved more than we could ever dreamed possibleculminating in that third ticket and BOB at CRUFTS in 1997. She gave great pleasure to so many people who have become our true friends over the years. What it was to see her in her prime moving round the showring -sheer spine tingling magic. A judge wrote 'must be one of the best moving bitches in the country' and who r we to argue. As you know many of her cards and rosetts carry a punture mark of exhuberance when she grabbed them from the startled stewards(for which we apolagise) She had just one litter from which she gave Ch Garsheras Honey Don't and Garsheras Sergant Pepper who has been Lucys compaion all his life.
A famouse author wrote 'I heard someone define heaven once a place where when you get there all the dogs you ever loved run to greet you' If thats be so Lucy will be leading the way. Until then Lucy in the Sky you have left a great space in our lives and a ache in our hearts
