The change, not a welcome one as far as Burgh are concerned, is that the season will start earlier than usual, on Wednesday, July 29.
This proposal was surprisingly voted through by a huge majority, with only seven clubs voting against it and asking for the season to start on August 5.
In a happy twist of fate, it turns out Burgh are idle on the season's opening day anyway, giving us a few more days of pre-season before the Sectional League Cup begins. All the fixtures announced so far are published below.
A proposal for Saturday games to kick-off at 2.30pm was defeated by 29 votes to 32.
Other changes include a new rule that clubs can now name seven substitutes in their match day squad, with three able to be used. Also, no player can play more than three games as a trialist for the same club in a season.
