Arizona 6
Hello All!
Hope you all had a nice Easter
The Arizona 6 day was a real challenge this this year. We had unusually warm temperatures, 85-90 and cool nights dipping in the 40's. All good training for the Death valley race in July-at least I tried to tell my self this! I managed to win my 3rd Arizona 6 Day race with 375.25 miles ran and a new course record set. I fell short of my 400 mile goal, I know now it is reachable on this course.
Thank you all for your good wishes and support. My cause I support, The Way to Happiness Foundation was well received and made a big impact in the town of Douglas, Arizona, a premier southwestern border town. My feet held up better than last year's race, only a few blisters and one lost toe nail-not to mention some stomach problems, chaffing a sore knee-all part of the adventure and running for a higher purpose made it all very well worth it. Nothing compared to last years blisters and 100 plus degree days.
Pledges are still being accepted To Way to Happiness

which is helping our youth make the right choices. There is more to be written on this race-some amazing stories happened along the way. Congratulations to all the runners who took on this challenging race. Kudos to you all!! Talk about inspiring runners and walkers out there! Wow!!! Talk about courage and perseverance.
Thank you again for your good wishes and support. Doing OK, can walk without limping now, creaks here and there-think I'll make it.
Best Regards,
John Radich
