AES Racing was established in late 2005 to compete in the upcoming 2006 sim racing season. It is a division of Automotive Engine Specialties (AES), a premier engine builder in the Chicagoland area. AES has been into building performance drag racing engines for 10 years now and has recently started making high flying engines for stock cars. We will be competing in various sim racing leagues plus some specialty events. While the primary focus will be in short track racing in the Late Model, Aero88, and the GN1970 mods, appearances in the Nextel Cup, Busch Grand National, and the Craftsman Truck Series will be common place.
Our driver will be Mike McClure from Wheeling, IL just outside of Chicago. His racing resume is long and distinguished having accomplished quite a bit in his short career. He has real racing experience in drag racing and stock car racing at local tracks around his home town. He has been racing since he was 16 in some form or another and we look for good things to come from our partnership with him. "I know I am not as young or as experienced as some of these other guys out here, but I am here to learn and hope to earn the respect of my fellow drivers, crews, and teammates," said McClure when asked what his intentions were for the upcoming season. We look to grow with himand develope into a front running team in any and all divisions we compete in.
Please remember to sign our guestbook. Thanks
