 Donnie Brasco is one of my personal favorites. A spectacular film based on the true story of Joseph D. Pistone and his life undercover in the NY Mafia. Joe Pistone is an undercover cop for the FBI. His assignment, to infiltrate the New York Mafia. Under the alias of Donnie Brasco he sends information from within the Mafia to the FBI, but when Joe gets in too deep, his life is on the line.Can they get him out in time? This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are just awesome. This movie is based on the true events of the writer J.M. Barrie, who wrote the childrens novel Peter Pan. Depp plays the role of James Barrie, a playwriter looking for inspiration that he had lost. One day he happens to meet Sylvia Davies(Kate Winslet) and her four boys. Her husband had died and left her with the four children. What began as a chance encounter, changed their lives forever. After this encounter James begins spending more and more time with Sylvia and the boys. Peter(Freddie Highmore) soon becomes James' inspiration for his new play, Peter Pan. But when Sylvia gets ill just what will happen to her family? He was looking for inspiration, they were looking for the family they once had. What they got was Neverland. This is a touching story of a man who brought the worlds imagination to life, of a boy searching for something to fill the emptiness in his heart, and a mother looking for happiness for her family. This story pulls your heart strings. I cried when I saw it. It was just a beautiful beautiful film. One of my all time favorites.

Secret Window is a great mystery/thriller movie. Johnny Depp plays Mort Rainey, a writer who has just gone through a bitter separation from his wife. When a strange man, who calls himself Shooter, appears at his front door claiming Mr. Rainey has plagiarized his short story and demands justice, he doesn't think too much of it. He knows he has done no such thing. He doesn't think much of it until that is his demands turn to threats, and his threats to murder. When things get out of control,and not knowing what else to do, Mort turns to a private investigator for help. But he soon realizes that he can't trust anyone anymore. This is a wonderful movie and has a great twist and an ending you will never expect.

In this movie Johnny Depp plays the role of Gene Watson, who after just losing his wife has gone to Las Angeles on bussiness with his young dughter Lynn. When he steps into the train station a couple, posing as police officers, abduct them and take them to a van out front. They then hand Gene a loded gun and tell him to kill the governor of California or they will kill his daughter. Gene has 90 minutes to become an assassin. Will he kill the governor or will he run out of time? This is a great story and the action begins right away. Now the question is will Gene become a killer or lose his daughter?
