Whats Happening

Well the NRMA have accepted that their insured was at fault when she wiped out my Tiger and have payed me out for the bike less GST of course. Interesting that even though I was transported and admitted to hospital because of my injuries no-one has been charged with negligent driving. It seems the NSW Police Service could not work out who was at fault so they did not charge anyone. The NRMA did there own investigation and actually contacted the witness (something the NSW Police could not do) before they realised that their insured was undertaking an illegal u-turn at an intersection and accepted liability. Of course the payout for the bike (less GST) will not cover the cost of replacing the Tiger, so until I save enough pennies I have been relying on friends lending me their bikes (and some of them are no Triumphs), so I will continue to organise rides but I may have to be on a borrowed machine for a while (hopefully not too long as I am already missing the sound of the triple). Keep an eye on the calender for updated ride details. Until then, keep it rubber side down, with your eyes everywhere.
