Wheeler Joey (Jounouchi Katsuya)

 Joey Wheeler (Or at least that's his name in the american version) is the cutest, hottest, and most sensitive in the Yugioh! show! And this shrine is in his honor! Most of the Joey shrines I've checked out have been closed, but this one shall never be closed because, well I don't really care if people take the images that I've surfed the net for. So if ya's all don't mind, why dontcha check out this website? ^_^
Okay, now that I've got that said, lemme ezplain Jou's past and stuff... yeah, y'know, the usual ^-^
When Joey was about errr I dunno, I'm takin' a guess here, 8, I think, his parents split up (got a divorce) Their mom took Serenity, his younger sister (and the only good thing in his life), and their father took Joey. During the years after that, Joey's dad turned into an alchoholic, and Joey was forced to get jobs to support his little piece of family. He had to pay the rent, buy the food, AND pay for his father's liquor tabs (there is NO WAY a ten-year-old can handle that!!! ><) But, somehow, they managed. True, Joey and his father were always chased by bill collectors, but somehow they lived it through.
Then, when Joey was in middle school, he befriended Tristen, and they were friends quickly. They stuck together, and would always help each other.
Then when he turned about... sixteen, I think? They say he's fourteen in the show -_- pfft, right. Anyway, when he was sixteen or fourteen or whatever, he befriended Yugi, after being beaten up by Yugi's "bodygaurd", Ushio. Yugi had tried to stop the fight. He told Ushio that Joey was his friend, and that he wasn't making fun of him. Also, that if Ushio wanted to beat up on someone, it should've been him, not Joey and Tristen. So Ushio obliged, and beat up Yugi. Joey was almost devistated... in fact, he was thinking, during this time, 'What-? What are you doing?? If you had just kept quiet... if you had just kept your mouth shut like always...' and something like that... but anyway... *sets that aside*
So anyway, then Joey went to Duelist Kingdom and all that Jazz. There Jou's history is finally really up!! XD |

 Yugi is my second fav. charactor in Yugioh. The main reason why is because he's like 14 years old and shorter than Ash Ketchum of Pokemon, and he is so... Juvenile! Well anyway, besides that he's a cool guy.
Sooo, here's Yugi's real past, not my opinion of him;
When Yugi was six, he found the Millennium Puzzle's case in his grandfather's shop. He worked on it for years, but could never EVER get it solved... *sniffle* poor Yugi...
Then when he was in middle school, he had almost no friends. He befriended Tea, but they were never really close. Yugi went on in his life, always being made fun of, and ridiculed because all he loved to do with his time was solve puzzles and play games, while the other guys would go out and play basketball, or video games, stuff like that. Yugi was also the main person to pick on, considering his size, and how weak he was.
When Yugi got into High School, his freshman year, EVERYTHING changed... absolutely EVERYTHING. He had developed a crush on Tea by this time, as well (and Yugi is NOT some innocent boy!! He is a TOTAL pervert!! Trust me!!) One day, he was sitting in class, playing with that pirate sword game thingy where you gotta put the swords in the little slot and hope that the pirate doesn't pop out, but uh yeah. The guys told him to put away his puzzles and come play basketball with them, and they even invited the girls (-_- You'll see why later), but Yugi declined, stating that he had more fun with his puzzles.
During the time he sat there, he started to get bored with the puzzles he was playing with, so he pulled out the Millennium Puzzle's case, (it's pieces were in it -_-) and he gave a riddle, 'There's something inside this box. It's something you see, but have never seen before. What is it?'. Before he had time to open it and answer, Tristen took the box from him. He started laughing, saying 'what's this, a jewelry box??' and Yugi begged for it back, when Tristen threw it to Joey. Yugi begged and begged, but told them they could look, but not lose any of the pieces. Joey took a peak, then threw it to Tristen, sure, he was meant to catch it, he was totally ready for it, but then Tea caught it instead. She insulted Tristen and Joey, and chased them off, but then she went over to Yugi and gave it back to him. He gave her the riddle, and she was confused. 'a puzzle' was the answer. Tea stated that she had come back because, even though the guys had asked the girls to play basketball, they were taking peaks as the girls shot the ball (-_- tch, typical guys).
So anyway, soon after that, he ran into Ushio, and Ushio asked Yugi about bullies. Yugi said he didn't have any bullies (TOTAL LIE!) and soon found himself facing Ushio again, Ushio saying something about 'here, take out all the stress you want on these guys', pointing to a now beat up Tristen and Joey. Yugi wouldn't stand for this. He stated, and I quote, "DON'T HURT THEM!! THEY'RE MY FRIENDS!!" Ushio laughed, and just basically started to beat up Yugi. Then, that night, Yugi worked on the puzzle. No, he didn't really want to. He had been warned by Ushio that he had to make a payment of like... 300,000 yen or something like that, but for some reason, to him, the Millennium Puzzle seemed easier to solve that day. Yugi finally passed the part he was stuck on, and almost finished the puzzle!! He had one piece left!! But then, he reached into the case, and the piece wasn't there!!!!! He started crying, saying he'd never finish the puzzle now, when his grandfather walked in, with the piece in hand, and gave it back to Yugi. Now, y'see, the reason that grandpa had it, was because Joey had taken a piece (yeah, that's right, when he was peaking at it at school) and thrown it into the school pool! He then retrieved it after the Ushio incident, and gave it to Yugi's grandpa.
After Yugi's grandpa left, Yugi put the last piece of the Millennium Puzzle in it's place, and he was granted the power of the Pharaoh.
Now, Yugi didn't remember anything after that, but what happened was Yugi turned into Yami, and went and challenged Ushio to a Shadow Game, and won. After that, Yugi started challenging a lot of people to Shadow Games, (NOT the stupid dueling ones!! -_-) and was successful every time. And every time, the loser played a penalty game and was either killed or went insane. (*shivers*)

Taylor Tristen["Tristan"] (Honda Hiroto)

 Tristen is another comic releif in the story, just like Joey. He and Joey are great friends from when they were in a street kid gang, even though they fight, their good at heart and do anything for each other. (Er, well, you know what I mean!) My other friends say that he is a lot less hot-headed than Joey, which is sort of true, but I wouldn't look into it.
Not that I really have much on Tristen, but I'll add on that, he's crushing on Serenity. Something he's been doing since he was friends with Joey in middle school. And uhhh Joey and Tristen were never in a gang... it was only Joey o.O oh well, I'll keep that up anyway. XD so uhhh I guess that's all I got on Tristen's bg. OH! Tristen also owns a female dog o.O |

Gardner Tea (Mazaki Anzu)

 Tea Gardner is Yugi's grade school friend. That was the only connection they had- until the episode where she got mad at them for making fun of her for working at a fast food resturant. She went to an alley to meet someone, thinking it was Yugi and got kiddnapped by that freak. Well then obviously Yugi and Joey went looking for her, ending up in a duel with the kiddnapper, and again, obviously winning. Ever since then they've stuck together and she's acted sort of like... the mother of the family (Yipes! I mean group!)
-______- riiiight... yeah, that's what happened... and monkeys can fly... -_- *hits herself on the head* Mental note.... you knew nothing before you read the Manga series...
So anyway, what really happened was an escaped jail convict came into Burger World, the restaurant where Tea worked. He took Tea hostage, and warned that, if his demands weren't met, then he'd kill Tea. So then he called Yugi to get him some vodka and cigarettes... Yugi got them for him, and when he did, he turned into Yami, and sat down at the same table as the convict. he challenged the convict to a game (then Tea fell in love with Yami's voice, and vowed herself to find the owner, which eventually she did, and she's only crushing on Yami, not Yugi, she doesn't like him, which really sucks cuz he likes her -_-) and he accepted. The convic lost, and set himself on fire. I'll only tell you that it had to do with vodka, a cigarette, and a lighter o.O So anyway, that's what happened with that. That's pretty much all I have for info on Tea... until I find out more, that's it!! ^^ |

Wheeler Serenity (Jounouchi Shizuka)

.jpg) Okay, I decided to add Serenity here, cuz I have no other place to put her lol. Serenity is Joey's sister, as you may know (and can see, considering her last name) Her and Joey were separated when they were exceptionally young, their mother taking Serenity, and their father taking Joey. For years they lived apart, and never saw each other, when finally, before Duelist Kingdom, Serenity sent Joey a tape, telling him (in riddles, it seems!) that she was going to lose her eyesight. Now Joey, being the faithful, and oh-so-kewl brother that he is, entered Duelist Kingdom to win the money so he could pay for lazer eye sugery to make sure Serenity wouldn't go blind, and to take her and show her the beach again. Serenity, of course, loves her brother dearly, and looks up to him for support. Then, after her surgery, she had to keep bandages on her eyes for a while (not too sure how long, it never really said -_-). Then Battle City came along, and Serenity kept track with what was going on by the aid of Tristan, who told her who was winning in Joey's duels, even though Tristan lied once -_-. Then, when Joey was possessed by Malik, and Serenity, Tristan, Duke, and Mai went looking for them, Serenity took off the bandages on her eyes, just in time to seize the sight of Joey saving Yugi. Anyway, asides all that, Joey and Serenity would do much of anything for each other, and they both offer inspiration to one another. |
