My name is Joe and I live in Hamden, CT. I've been raising Holland Lops since I retired in the summer of 2004. I got my first breeding pair of Holland Lops from Kim at Lops "R" Us. Kim has helped me out a great deal on the care and upbringing of my rabbits. I have an 18 hole rabbitry that is currently in my garage. I clean my cages daily . I am a member of the HLRSC.
I raise my hollands just for the pleasure of taking care of them. I do not show my rabbits but I do have show and pet stock available.
I use a heater in the winter and an A/C on those hot and humid days. The max weight of a holland lop is 4lbs. this breed would make a great indoor or outdoor pet. My grandchildren help me also with the care and feeding of the rabbits especially all of the bunnies.
