About the Site/Clips:
I made this site a little more than a year ago. I haven't updated it in quite a while and most of the clips on here are at least a year and a half old. I think I've gotten a lot better since then and I will be making some more stuff to put on here soon, hopefully with better sound quality and not so much sloppy playing! As for my gear I use the following:

Audacity which is the program on my computer I use for recording.
Keyboard Music 2.4 - a useful program I got that is basically a piano on your computer with over 100 different sounds.
Some shitty computer microphone, so forgive the quality of the clips as they tend to be a bit piercing.
For the bass and drums for my clips what I do is for the bass I just turn the treble and mid all the way down on my amp and turn the bass all the way up. For the drums I just bang my fingers on my desk with the mic real close, silly but somewhat effective. Most of the clips are only a minute or 2 long because I don't have the patience yet to do full songs. Putting these clips together and syncronizing everything is somewhat of a pain in the ass, but I enjoy it.

Freebird - NEW! I originally just wanted to record just the solo portion, but i screwed up the audacity file so i had to do the whole thing. The slide part is far from perfect, but i think i nailed the solo!
Hammerons - Short little clip I made just messing around with some hammer-ons and pull-offs over a heavy rhythm guitar.
Hawkmoon269 * - Probably one of the better ones I've made so far. Made a better version below, but I'm gonna keep this one one because it's also good. Here is U2 performing the song live. Even if you don't like U2, it's still a great song.
Hawkmoon269(re-recorded) - Update of the above song. This is the 3rd version of this song I've uploaded. This one is the same as the one that was up from about 2/28-3/6, if anyone listened to it. The only difference is I added the slide guitar over a synth track intro like U2 plays it. Was a VERY difficult editing the intro into the existing tracks for this clip, and the slide part took me about 20 minutes to get it to sound halfway decent, but it turned out ok. This is by far the longest one I've recorded yet so it make take a minute or 2 to load, so be patient. Overall I think it's a pretty good recreation of the song (see the link above) considering I only used my guitar and my fingers for drums.

KOHD - Made this little acoustic version of Knocking on Heaven's Door during a long night of drinking last night (2/23/07). Borrowed my roommates guitar to do it. Nice little G major scale run.

Ryan'sbeat - my roommate Ryan came up with this simple yet awesome guitar part where he plays and also does percussion on his acoustic guitar in open D tuning. It's pretty damn good for only playing a few times. I play electric guitar as usual.
ShineSolo - a quick little solo
Slide1 - one I made while ago. Just messing around with some slide guitar. Open G tuning, the second guitar in the mix is a little off at times, but it turned out OK I guess.
Tremlobar - made this right before I changed strings. Bashed the guitar around pretty good on this one. No real talent here, just pretty much noise. The tuning is way low and somewhat out of tune due to the tremlo bar, but it was fun playing like this.
Wahpedal1 - Similar to Iggy Pop's "1969"
Wonderwall - me and my roommate playing Oasis's Wonderwall. I'm on electic guitar improvising a solo and my roommate is playing the acoustic. This is really the first song I've taught him and he's doing pretty well for only playing a couple of times (at the time). We both messed up a couple times and the beginning is a little rough, but the middle solo part turned out well enough.
