Modeling trains & buildings in N-Scale

My plan is to start something new for those who model in N-Scale. I like to model the city life in the era of the '30's through the late '50's. Trains meandering down streets at a slow pace, just coming off the main line. No buildings are new and are weathered from the years of wear and torment.

Most of the things I model is either scratch built or kitbashed as I like one of a kind structures. I will in time be adding pictures and sometimes plans of the models I build. Should you wish to exchange plans of your design for others to use then contact me and arrangements will be made. They must be your own design. This is a fun hobbie that all should enjoy freely.

Along the way some tips and tricks will be thrown in to give you an edge up on things. Until I get use to this new web site there may only be pictures of some of my work.

I hope you keep a watch on this site and lets see what we can do for our hobby.                                Thanks, Jim

One of the other things I like to do is to make suttle changes to kits, such as the Atlas tower, as I have done to the one here. Just a small change like the roof style will make a commonly seen kit look entirely different. Don't you agree?

A little about this site

The Picture This page are pictures of models I have done. If interested e-mail me and I will do a short how-I-did-it for you. This of course may change from time to time.

The Project Page is where most of the action will be with a breif tutorial and plans. So get busy and let's do some building.

I think the rest are self elplainatory.
