Bio:

I have been turning since 1979, I started in junior high school and have always loved working with wood. Wood is a wonderfull medium with endless vairations in color and grain. Turning is the best way to show of the beauty of a nicely figured piece wood.

I am largly self taught and while interested in all types of turning, box making and small scale turning has been my main focus.

I am a member of  The American  Association of Woodturners, Association of Revolutionary Turners (A.R.T.) and The World of Woodturners (WoW) a web based turning group.

I am a part time professional turner and a full time single father to my 3 1/2 year old son. I demonstrate and teach classes at local woodworking stores and woodturning clubs. I also show my work at local galleries.

I was named turner of the month in March of 2004 by Association of Revolutionary Turners (A.R.T.) you can see the artical at the following link.
