Jonny & Kate
We are both in our mid twenties, and have been together for six years. We are both mad keen sailors, and have raced dinghies from a very young age. We also love travelling, and hence the concept for the trip was a more or less natural conclusion:
sailing + travelling = sailing around the world!
Jonny is a qualified accountant by trade (but doesn't have a Volvo or a grey suit!), and Kate is a Maths teacher. We are hoping to be able to use these skills when we arrive in Australia for our mid voyage 'stop over'.
Roo
Roo is Kate's youngest brother and is hitchiking across the Atlantic with us before he starts his new profession in the Caribbean as a beach bum! He came on our delivery trip from Hamble to Fleetwood in Easter 2007 and should hopefully be spending some more time on the Newt before he meets us in the Canaries in Oct 2008.
