| J.J. Wins John R. Wooden Award |
| To put the cherry on the top of the awards season, J.J. won the John R. Wooden Award in Los Angeles yesterday. That gives him a clean sweep of all the major player of the year awards, which is pretty amazing. Adam Morrison came in second with 4,572 points from the voters to J.J.'s 4,646, which is the third closest margin of victory in the award's 30-year history. How fitting that the season ended with J.J. and Adam sitting side-by-side on national television and narrowly contesting something! |

| J.J. Adds NABC Trophy To His Collection |
On Sunday, J.J. and Adam Morrison were named National Players of the Year by the NABC. I think I've run out of creative ways to say congratulations, which is a good thing in this case.
Additionally, Shelden Williams was named National Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight time. Props to the Landlord! |

| Naismith Award Belongs To J.J. |
J.J. added another honor to the list tonight with his acceptance of the Naismith Trophy Men's College Player of the Year award in Indianapolis. A great quote:
"When you consider all aspects of his game and everything he brings to the floor, there is no doubt Redick is the best player in the country," said Gary Stokan, Atlanta Tipoff Club president. "He helped lead Duke to a great season and, along the way, turned in one of the greatest personal performances of all time. He had a fantastic career for the Blue Devils and really embodies what the Naismith Trophy stands for."

| J.J. Wins Senior CLASS Award |
|
The Senior CLASS Award was presented to J.J. between semi-final games at the Final Four yesterday. The award is given to the outstanding senior NCAA Division I college basketball player of the year. It honors the commitment and loyalty of players who stay in school. Congrats to J.J. on picking up some more hardware. (And those are some large trophies he's gathering. He's going to need one hell of a trophy case.) Stay tuned for the announcement of the Naismith Award later today.
