My Gastric Bypass Journey

Hi,... My name is Holly Atkins, I am one of many people out there struggling with obesity.
Alot of people look at the obese with disgust and judge them as a failure, not taking the time to get to know
the person inside, seeing that they are human and have feelings just like everyone else.
The crewd comments, stares and all out rudeness are so hard to keep overlooking and shrug off.
I have struggled with my weight from a early age.
I have tried all the diets out there over the years from slim fast to phen-phen, metabolife to ATKINS
unfortunately if any weight was lost it does'nt stay off and more weight is then gained in the end result.
I've done alot of research and have decided that a Gastric Bypass is what I need. Now the hard part.....
After going to the seminars, seeing the specialists, and to find out that I qualify for the proceedure,
My husbands Insurance EXCLUDES any treatment or proceedures of any kind associated with weight loss.
Ive been fighting them on this matter for a year now and have gotten no where!
