Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers

This is one of my all-time favorite bands/songwriters/etc.  I'm not sure why, it's about as close to country music that I will venture, but even this can't be considered country by any means.  Hard to explain... you'll just have to listen!  Seriously, this music is keen, jellybean.

Albums:

Wheelie (1994)
Lo Our Much Praised Yet Not Altogether Satisfactory Lady (1995)

Soundtracks and the like:

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? - great soundtrack, really brings me back to my days of living in a boxcar down in the bayou...  but seriously, buy this album!  You may be singing "I am a man of constant sorrow" if you don't!

The Royal Tenenbaums - I really loved this movie, and the soundtrack is very unique and spirited.  Also contains some Beatles and what not, too.

The Crow - excellent movie, and great soundtrack!  Pretty hard, but cool.

Dude, Where's My Car? - a very dumb, good movie, with a playful, pop-flawed soundtrack.  Good for having a good time.  Sprung Monkey, Superdrag, Harvey Danger, how can you resist?

Beavis and Butt-head Do America - such hits as "Love Rollercoaster" by RHCP and "Lesbian Seagull" by Engelbert Humperdink (huh, "humper-dink").

The Beavis and Butt-head Experience - Basically a bunch of pretty cool metal songs with some random rap. huh-huh-huh, yeah, heh-heh-heh

Austin Powers Soundtracks - always fun and classic now.  both pop and classical fields.  and my personal favorite, "Soul Bossa Nova", yeah baby!

Kill Bill Vol 1 - Just a cool soundtrack!
