N2NXZ 10 Meter Propagation Beacon

This almost looks like the mill is spinning backwards.That is due to the digital camera frame speeds.The same concept of an automobile timing light.The 12V 125AH battery is @ 3 volts in this video.The radio equipment is off.It was not charging and I dont know why.These videos were made before my return to make blocking diode changes.

I came home from work,turned my ham radio on and tuned to my beacon frequency (28.2278 mhz).Being 65 miles away,I really did not expect to hear it.Would you believe I actually heard it for a brief moment?All day it was pretty breezy,all I thought about was,is the mill spinning and charging?I hope so.But to actually hear a 3 watt transmitter 65 miles away for that short moment is amazing and rewarding.

This is what I have been hearing from 8:00pm EST until I fell asleep with the radio on to hear this the following morning at 7:55 am EST.N2NXZ/B has been trying hard to get home.I will add more ASAP.
