1. First click on the following link and read the page from top to bottom.  There could be a quiz!  http://webquest.sdsu.edu/designpatterns/all.htm

2.  Good Work.  Now each group needs to select a webquest style.  First read through the following page which outlines the different styles of webquests.
http://webquest.sdsu.edu/designsteps/index.html  Once you have selected a style i.e. Alternative History, Analyizing for Bias ect... Pick a topic.

3. Here is a short list of some sample topics: Gettysburg Address, Election of 1876, The Middle Passage etc.  You can chose any event from 19th century United States History.  Have fun with this.  Pick a topic that is intersting to you!

4.  Check out the following sample.  http://www.powayschools.com/projects/mt&r/ConflictYellowstoneWolf.htm This will give you an idea of what your project should look like.

Be creative!!!!!  Your grade will be heavily based on your creativity.  The culminating project should be something original.  A poem, song, journal ect...  Remember to have fun!
