Jezuit's Rabbitry

We are Jezuit's Rabbitry located in Holt, Michigan.  Owned by Penny, Joseph, Tyler and Sierra Jezuit. We started raising Mini Rex rabbits in 2005 and added Florida Whites in 2007.  We also are working on American Sables.   We are currently a small rabbitry of only 25 holes.  So that means many nice quality rabbits are sold.  My two kids are currently showing in the youth program in Michigan. We are raising blacks, blues, brokens, and chocolate.  We are trying to specialize in the chocolate color.  Sometimes other colors pop up also!  Penny is also the rabbit leader of a 4-H group out of Ingham County.

Aug 22nd GLRCS  Double show (sanctioned Sables for youth)

September 12/13 Double on 12th/single on 13th Ionia

October 4th Marshall (sables sanctioned)

Nov 1 thru Nov 5  San Diego, CA!!!  Inquire what we have for sale.  Will hold for convention at these prices.  As convention gets closer prices will include delivery charges also.

2007 Recall:

Tyler finished 2nd in points for the nation with his chocolate Mini Rex.

Tyler finished 22nd in points overall in Florida Whites for the Nation.

We had 18 BOV and 18 BOSV and 1 BOS out of 18 shows.

We also have earned 6 BOB with our Florida Whites and 6 BOS at only 6 shows. Tyler has Grand Championed his Florida White doe. 

2008 News:

Excellent news:  Both Sierra and Ty showed at the Clare Ct 4-H show 2/16/08.  Sierra took 4th in Showmanship (her first time actually being able to do showmanship!).  She also took BOV Sable Point and BOB Am. Sable.  Ty took BOV blue, BOV chocolate, BOB and BOS Florida White and Best 4-Class and BEST IN SHOW!!  We were so happy!  This would be our first BIS. 

Isabella Ct 4-H show 2/23/08 Tyler took BOS Mini Rex w/Kermit (chocolate buck) BOB and BOS Florida White and BOV Blue. Sierra took BOB American Sable and BOSV Sable Point.

2008 Recall- We had 5 BOB- 2 BOS and 1 4-H BIS with our Florida Whites.  Tyler and Sierra finished #18 overall in the nation with their Florida Whites.  We had 8 BOB, 3 BOS with our American Sables.  In Mini Rex we had 23 BOV, 11 BOSV and 1 BOB.  We also had 1 BOS at a 4-H and also another one of our stock taking BOS at a fair and another taking Reserve Champion at her fair.  Very happy with how we did this last year.  Official results for the year for Mini Rex#1 in Youth Chocolates, #10 blue and overall #37 in the Nation.  Well done!  We showed at 17 ARBA shows last year.  They also finished #2 in Mini Rex in Michigan and #1 overall in American Sables.  They were also presented with an award from the MSRBA for American Sables finsihing #25 places overall in the state for breeder points.  I would say last year was a very successful year.  Looking for another outstanding year in 2009 with our sables.  Hopefully the Mini Rex will come around.....

2009 News:

State 4-H Rabbit show- Sierra took 2nd out of 12 in Black Sr Bucks, 1st Black jr buck and BOB/BOS Am. Sable.  Ty took BOB/BOS Florida White.  Not too bad.  Things are improving in our lines. 

Columbus, Ohio show update:  Sierra took 1st of 9 jr bucks for Striker's 1st leg.  (against wonderful open members) Saturday.  On Sunday Striker took BOB and Tori took BOS.  Striker should get his 2nd leg for that weekend. 

Have granded 3 rabbits already this year.  Not too shabby.
