I thought is would be good to give you this information about online packs. A pack is a place, usually a message board, where therianthropes of varying backgrounds and phenotypes can congregate and communicate with each other. The name is derived from a wolf hierarchy, but it doesn't mean that they are exclusive to wolf phenotypes.
Packs are a great place to ask questions, because within days you can have a multitude of answers from several other therianthropes. This is how I personally got started in the therian community, so I thought it only fair to pass the information along. Most of you, just from getting to this site, have probably stumbled across a couple of therian boards. There are ones with large membership i.e. Shifters.org and Werelist.com, but these aren't always the best places to be seeking membership. Starting in a small pack with fifty or less members is a great way to make acquaintances with other therians, and to ask questions that you need to get off your chest.
My first pack was called Boomshift. It was a forum with a few active members, and was easy to work with.
I am currently the Alpha Male of The Spirit Runners Pack. http://www.freewebs.com/spiritrunners/ There are just over thirty members at this time, and membership is considered by myself and the Alpha Female, so no bad characters can get in.
