Bezalel and Oholiab
30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, "See, The LORD has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts- 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic craftsmanship. 34 And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. 35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as craftsmen, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers?all of them master craftsmen and designers.
When Moses asked people with various gifts and abilities
to help with the sacred tent, not everyone's gifts were in the
form of gold and silver. The people gave their skills and
talents to do whatever they could.
Those who knew how to sew and weave cloth were glad
to use their talents for the Lord's sacred tent. Skilled
craftsmen made beautiful objects of art. Other people
used their talents to sculpt and to carve items from wood.
Similarly, each of us have been given gifts, talents and
abilities. We are responsible for using them in a way
that honours God. Whether you are a business person,
a doctor, a factory worker, or an artist, your work can
help further the work of God going on all around you.
Being available to God includes the continual developement
of the gifts He has given youso that you will be prepared for
Him to use you. It involves your willingness to use those
gifts to serve Him in the calling He currently has for you.
Do you know the unique gifts God has given you? If not,
you might consider taking a spiritual gifts assessment
and ask your what they think your gifts are. It is important
to know that God gives each individual spiritual gift,
sometimes more than one!- and a special ministry in
the church where you can use these gifts to help and
encourage others and to bring glory to His name.
When you use spiritual gifts, you help fulfill the pupose
for which God has made you. You can never use up these
spiritual gifts; rather, the more you use them the more
they grow and allow you to make a unique contribution
in your sphere of influence. It is s divine moment when
you find the place where you can be most affective
for, go, and then you do your best work for God in
helping others.
Father, Make each day a day where we use Your
wonderful gifts to us to full advantage, so that we
continue to do witness for You continually. Let
us know exactly when to use our spiritual gifts
for Your glory.
In Jesus name we ask it.
Amen.

But when I say to the wicked, "You will surely die,'
and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,
if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity,
he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of his sins that he has committed
will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness;
he shall surely live.
