Adopting Jessie

You can't change the world by adopting one child, but you can change the world for one child...

You can't change the world by adopting one child, but you can change the world for one child...

Introducing Jessica Liang Carscadden.  Born November 3, 2002.  She came home to the US on November 10, 2007 and has simply been a joy.  Jessie was born with a cleft lip and palate, both of which were repaired in March of 2004.  Jessica is a nut and none of us can imagine life with out her.

As you can imagine, life with a six year old is a dramatic change.  We'll use this blog to update everyone as to how she is doing and post pictures of the little peanut.  The road is not always smooth but we are as open and honest as we can be.  Adopting an older child is such an amazing journey of love and trust.
