Who: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey

The Event: After a propsal on a yacht off the coast of Hawaii, the couple set about making plans--big plans--for a stellar wedding.
The wedding was held in Smith Chapel, a smaller stone chapel on the grounds of Riverbend Church; the couple had a Baptist ceremony presided over by a childhood of Jessica's. About 350 guests witnessed the exchange of vows.
The Dress & Tux: Jessica wore a strapless Vera Wang dress with a sweeping train. Nick wore a Hugo Boss tux.
The Reception: The Reception was held at Austin's Barton Creek Resort, a popular golf & tennis retreat southwest of the city.
Special Moments: Nick sang "My Everything" a song specially written for Jessica. Jessica had a friend sing a song she'd written for Nick titled "My Love"

Jessica Simpson: Was born July 10, 1980. She spent her childhood in Texas attending a church camp and singing in the church choir.
Nick Lachey: Was born November 9, 1973 in Harlan Kentucky. Growing up with brother and 98 Degrees band mate Drew Lachey.
Cacee: Jessica & Cacee have been best friends since their childhood. Jessica called in Cacee to be her personal assistant.
Drew Lachey: Was born on August 9, 1976, is best known as Nick Lachey's little brother and a member of 98 Degrees.
Lea Lachey: Is Drew Lachey's wife, growing up alongside Drew as childhood sweethearts.
Ashlee Simpson: She bagan dance lessons at age 4 and later became the youngest person to ever be admitted to the school of American Ballet at age 11. Is Jessica Simpson's little sister.
Joe Simpson: Worked as a phychologist and also served as a youth minister at a local Baptist church. Jessica & Ashlee's dad, also mananger.
Tina Simpson: Even though the girls are grown up Tina still watches over them, making sure they have everything they need. Is Jessica & Ashlee's mom.
