Setup Page

To access the setup page, please Launch your Internet Browser ( Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox). On the Address, Search or URL, type: http://192.168.1.1, then hit Enter/Return. A login screen will appear. Please leave the username blank, and enter “admin” as the password.

If it doesn’t take admin as the password you might have changed it when you have run the "Run Me First CD" that came with the router. Please try other passwords.

If you cannot remember the password I regret to inform you but you have to reset the router and reconfigure it.

Proxy Settings

Please disable your proxy settings and dial-up.

Go to: Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > select “Never Dial a Connection”, then hit Apply > click “LAN settings”, uncheck all boxes > hit “OK” until you’re back on your desktop.

Default Browser Settings

Please set your Internet Browser’s Security to Default

Go to: Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > Set the Internet and Local Intranet to Default Level then hit Apply

Firmware Upgrade using TFTP.EXE

Please run Tftp.exe. Enter the following information:

Static IP on LAN Cards

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right Click Local Area Network Connection that you are using > Properties > Internet Protocol TCP/IP > Properties > Use the following IP address:

Set to use the following DNS servers:

Then Hit OK all the way out.

Static IP on Wireless LAN Cards

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right Click Wireless Network Connection that you are using > Properties > Internet Protocol TCP/IP > Properties > Use the following IP address:

Set to use the following DNS servers:

Then Hit OK all the way out.

GETTING THE MAC ADDRESS AND IP ADDRESS OF A NIC or LAN CARD

On Windows 9x & Me

Click on [Start > Run > type winipcfg] then hit enter/return. The IP configuration window should come out. On the drop down menu button select your Ethernet adapter. Copy the IP Address and Adapter Address on a paper.

On Windows 2000, XP

Click on [Start > Run > type cmd] then hit enter/return. The DOS prompt or a black screen should come out. On the blinking cursor type “ipconfig/all” then hit enter/return, check the IP address under Ethernet Adapter Local Area Network Connection. Copy the IP Address and Physical Address on a paper.
