Our second trip was about two weeks later, this time I was armed with a digital camera, a SLR 35mm Canon, and digital video...but the results from those things are a whole 'nother story. I actually took my kids to the place, yep...all four of them with me. I wanted to see if any of them had that "sixth" sense. Well, my youngest (5) year old, refused to enter the place for the first twenty minutes saying that "too many ghosts lived there". It got to the point where she wouldn't even walk down the hill into the courtyard to just "see" the place, my husband was going to go back with her and sit in the van, wait for the rest of us to finish our little quest.
What's funny is, once I convinced her that I would carry her piggy-back thru the house the whole way, ...and she said a man lived in the fireplace.....Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy b/c that's what I felt too....that someone was staring back from the fireplace in the main dining room hall.........Well, my other kids had a field day running all around the place, pretending as if they where prince's and princess's of the place. They just loved it. They wanted to start a bonfire in the courtyard and sleep over. They're nutz, like me. I don't know if I could do the overnight thing there without Brad though, that's for sure. But maybe, just maybe, this summer, I'll wrack up the courage to do it......Muahahahahahahahahaha, let's see if I got the guts....... :)
