A trial date has been set for two Ohio police chiefs accused of orchestrating a break-in at the home of Parker and Matthew Broderick's surrogate shortly before she gave birth in June to the couple's twin girls.First up, Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carpenter will face a jury beginning Nov. 16. Bridgeport Chief Chad Dojack goes on trial Jan. 12. Both cases will be held at the Belmont County Common Pleas Court.The duo is facing a handful of felony counts for allegedly breaking into residence along with Bruce Callarik, the son of Bridgeport's mayor, to collect diirt on Parker, Broderick and the surrogate, and sell it to the tabloids.If convicted on all charges, Carpenter could face up to 21 years in the slammer, and Dojack up to 14. No word on Callarik's trial, but he's also facing a charge of complicity to receiving stolen property.  All three men have pleaded not guilty.

Sarah Jessica is set to become the new face of Halston.

The 'SATC' actress is in talks for a major endorsement deal with the American fashion house, following her previous contracts with Garnier and Gap, according to reports. US website E!Online claims: "Not that we need any proof of Sarah Jessica Parker's status as a true fashion icon, but we're hearing she's in talks for a major endorsement deal. A source reports that the 'Sex and the City' star may be the new face of revived American fashion house Halston."

Earlier this month, the star was pictured on the set of the 'Sex and the City' movie sequel wearing a white dress from the upcoming Halston Heritage Spring 2010 collection.

Sarah fits the bill of Marios Schwab's vision for Halson.When appointed in July, the brand's new creative director said he wanted to build on the firm's reputation for working with strong women, but was also planning to push its aesthetic forward.He said: "For me, the brand is very well known for the women it dressed - Bianca Jagger was a favourite Halstonette - capturing a decadence and glamour. I want to embrace this. But paying homage is one thing but you need to bring it to the future. A modern view point is what I want to give - it's crucial for future success."

-In addition to her endorsement deals, Sarah also released her own fashion line, Bitten, in 2007. She also has a successful fragrance collection, which launched in 2005 with 'Lovely',followed two years later by Covet and then Dawn, Endless and Twilight earlier this year.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday,Jen did end up singing a little.

"They promised me you wouldn't do this to me," Aniston told Ellen after revealing that she is learning to sing and play a dobro for an upcoming film role. But despite her protests, Aniston belted out a few bars of the George Gershwin standard "I've Got a Crush on You," then retorted, "I'm absolutely mortified that you did that to me."
Ellen's verdict? "I would put you through to the next round," DeGeneres said, referencing her new gig as an American Idol judge.

And the talk show host was equally probing when it came to Aniston's least favorite subject � her dating life. When DeGeneres noted, "They're always saying you're devastated. You don't look devastated," Aniston responded: "I know. I don't know how I get that end of the story every time.I have to talk to those people ... that are writing up those stories," Aniston said, joking that it was her former boyfriends who should be cast as the devastated ones in the gossip pages.
"Yeah, change it around," DeGeneres said to applause. "They're getting the raw end of the deal losing her. What's wrong with people?"

Celebrities were out in full force to support the event, holding court at different stores while fans and press mingled, shopped, and spotted the well-dressed stars. Anna Wintour bounced between locations posing with her fashionable friends like Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, and Sienna Miller. The Miller sisters were the guests of honor at the Intermix boutique, while Lindsay Lohan hit up Bloomingdales. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen appeard at Barney's. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham was at Bergdorf Goodman,posing with fans and pouting for cameras. SJP and Matthew checked out of East Ohio Regional Hospital with their newborn daughters on Thursday, hospital spokesperson Maggie Espina confirms to PEOPLE. "Yes, they are gone," says Espina.

According to a hospital employee, a maroon SUV and a white van were seen leaving the hospital around 11 a.m. escorted by numerous police cars with New York license plates. A hospital security guard told the employee "the babies left in that white van."

On Thursday, several reporters as well as dozens of excited employees dressed in scrubs, waited outside the hospital doors with cameras and cell phones to try to get a sighting of the new family � without success. "Even the nurses are trying to get a glimpse" said one passerby who was visiting someone at the hospital. "The nurses are trying to get a peek, but even they cant."

Though they didn't get to see the Sex and the City star, some local construction workers made a sign that they positioned outside the hospital referencing her famous HBO character. It reads: "Nice shoes Carrie, Congratulations!"

-Leaving the stage door late Tuesday night, after his performance in Broadway's The Philanthropist, Matthew Broderick told PEOPLE about the birth of his and Sarah Jessica Parker's twins, "I'm very happy. I don't know what else to say.I've seen them already. I just got back" from Ohio, where the girls were born Monday.
The show's Steven Weber also told PEOPLE that Broderick's "very pleased. He's happy … and he's looking forward to having them home."

-Though the twins arrived earlier than their mid-summer due date, their parents were well prepared for their arrival. "They've been gearing up for the birth of the girls, getting everything ready," one pal tells PEOPLE. "They are very excited. This is a big thing for them."
The couple have been readying the nursery for their new daughters, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick. They recently cleaned house at their West Village brownstone, removing boxes filled with dishes, photos and musical equipment to make room for their expanding brood.
Meanwhile, friends say Broderick, 47, and Parker, 44, will shower their new daughters with love. "They absolutely adore [son James Wilkie, 6,] so the two kids who came into the world [Monday] are going to be very happy," said actor Gary Beach, who has known Parker since she was 11 years old and, in his own Tony-winning role (as the madcap director), costarred with Broderick in The Producers. "Matthew loves to devote time to his son, and two … girls? That's wonderful," says Beach. "It's really going to be exciting for them."

-"Sarah Jessica and Matthew are great parents," says another friend, actress Kristin Johnson. "James Wilkie is the funniest, smartest kid ... so any addition would be lucky, lucky kids."
Sex and the City costumer Patricia Field, reached Tuesday on vacation in Greece, agrees. "Kids born to SJ and Matthew … are already miles ahead of the norm. They have so much opportunity. It's a lucky, fortunate child – children!"

Field also muses about the fun Parker is apt to have with her girls. "I think they'll be very imaginatively dressed, a product of her great imagination," says the costumer. But in keeping with Parker's down-to-earth appeal, "I don't think they'll be wearing Oscar de la Renta for a little while."
Also excited about the new babies are the residents of Martins Ferry, Ohio, where the girls were born with the help of a surrogate. "This is a big item for our town right now," says Martins Ferry mayor Phil Wallace, who is planning to send a gift to the couple. "I'm sure everybody in town is happy for them. This is happy news!"

Sarah Jessica and Matthe said Tuesday they were "delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters" – twins born Monday afternoon in Ohio via a surrogate.
"The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon," the couple say in a statement confirming earlier reports.

Born at 3:58 p.m., Marion Loretta Elwell weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz, and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 lbs. "Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side," the statement explains. (people.com)

It's double the joy for SJP and Matthew Broderick, who have welcomed twin girls, according to several local news outlets in Ohio.

A spokesperson for East Ohio Regional Hospital had no comment, but told PEOPLE "everything's good." Reps for the couple could not be reached for comment.

Let the rumors resume! Several weeks after Jennifer and Bradley Cooper reportedly flirted at a party for her movie Management, the pair enjoyed a cozy late-night dinner at the romantic Italian restaurant Il Cantinori in Manhattan on Thursday.

"It was a date," says a source. "She is taking it slow. She is obviously looking for love, but is not about to rush into anything."

When the two met up earlier this spring, pals of both dismissed romance rumors. "I am single," Cooper, 34, the star of the box-office smash The Hangover, recently told PEOPLE, saying that he found the rumors linking himself to Aniston "flattering."

Two police chiefs are under investigation for allegedly planning a break-in at the home of the woman carrying the twins of SJP and Matthew Broderick. According to news outlets in Ohio, the state's Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation is looking into whether officers from the neighboring towns of Martins Ferry and Bridgeport masterminded a burglary in order to gather information that they could then sell to a tabloid newspaper.

"I'm 100 percent innocent in this and my department is as well," Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter told TV station WTOV in Steubenville. Both Carpenter and the other officer reportedly under investigation, Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack, remain on the job as the probe continues.

The alleged plot is just the latest incident in the highly scrutinized pregnancy. In May, Parker said that she worries about the health of the surrogate because of the intense media attention now focused on her. Parker has also said that Broderick is furious about the situation.

"Matthew and Sarah Jessica have complete faith in the legal system," Broderick's publicist told PEOPLE. "But because it's a criminal investigation, we will not be making any more comment. Safety is, in fact, Sarah Jessica¢s main concern. Since the baby news broke, she¢s been shocked that a tabloid has targeted her surrogate.“What has happened to her?” Billy asked.“What hasn¢t happened?” Sarah Jessica replied.

Not only has the woman carrying the twins been identified, but she has been followed, something that is troubling for the star.“I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy,” Sarah Jessica said.“The most unsavory things have been done,” she continued. “She¢s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she¢s had threats against her and true harassment… She¢s had friends threatened and family threatened and she¢s had family of friends threatened.”

A pregnant friend of the surrogate was also chased by the paparazzi, Sarah Jessica claims.“She¢s had a friend who was thought to be her chased down a highway… This friend is nine months pregnant — chased down a highway by photographers and dare I call them ¡reporters.¢ I guess that¢s how they identify themselves,” she said. “It¢s crossed lines… Pretty much all the lines have been crossed.”

“Is she physically healthy and OK?” Billy asked of the surrogate.“She is today, but she¢s had a bad week in the very recent past… You understand what stress, worry and fear and being scared can do,” Sarah Jessica said. “She¢s quite far along in this pregnancy and she¢s carrying two children…. There¢s simply no excuse for doing this to somebody. It¢s not acceptable.”

And despite headlines like “SJP¢s Surrogate Revealed! The Troubled Life of the Woman Having Her Twins,” that came out in Star magazine, Sarah Jessica said she is happy with the woman they chose to carry the twins.“I¢m beyond comfortable with who she is,” Sarah Jessica said. “We haven¢t been reckless, we haven¢t been cavalier. She hasn¢t been reckless…. Every single allegation that I know has been suggested about her is absolutely slander, and libel.Obviously there are those that don¢t care about her, or her health, or safety, or my children¢s health and safety, and that they should go to term and not go into an early labor and, god forbid, suffer all the things that can happen — that is a real possibly,” she added.

“It must keep you up at night,” Billy suggested.“It keeps me up every night,” Sarah Jessica said. “It¢s really incredibly upsetting to think of her so far away and me not being able to do something, beyond what I¢m legally allowed to do.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, Star magazine claims that much of the information from their stories was posted online – including on MySpace — by the surrogate herself. They additionally claim they contacted her for comment as is their normal practice.“Star denies that it used any unfair tactics in getting information for the article about Sarah Jessica Parker¢s surrogate,” the mag said in a statement to Access.

Two days ago Jen was back in NYC set to film more scenes of her upcoming comedy The Baster.

In a recent interview Jen talked about breakups, projects, and what she'd be doing if she weren't an actor. Here are highlights:

• On an awkward breakup: "I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant. The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, 'Get up!' It was horrible."
• On what she'd do if she quit acting: "I would say, probably something in the health industry. It's too late to go to medical school. I'd travel. I'd go back to the years that I never did what I'd wish I'd done, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic. What I would do? I don't know. Maybe become a chef. There's so much more to do. It's almost overwhelming. I've gotten to a great place in my career."

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick left their NYC townhouse separately this afternoon. The happy couple just announced yesterday that they're expecting twin girls via a surrogate this Summer, and they're already preparing for their new additions — a big shipment of infant clothes was spotted being carried into their home today. A U.S. magazine published a pixilated photograph of an unnamed ex-barmaid they claim is the surrogate mother.The woman, a 26-year-old divorced mother-of-one, is reportedly receiving $30,000 (£20,300) to carry the twin girls for Miss Parker and Broderick.

According to the magazine, the couple will also cover her medical costs of around $20,000 (£13,500) and pay $100,000 (£67,700) to surrogate agency Growing Generations, based in Los Angeles.Star magazine claims the babies were conceived in vitro using eggs Miss Parker had frozen some time ago and Broderick's sperm.The surrogate mother is believed to live in Eastern Ohio and is due to give birth on July 18, at a small hospital near her home.The magazine claims Miss Parker and Broderick will stay at a nearby hotel and may even be present in the delivery room for the birth.Star magazine is out today  in newstands!

Jennifer had a late private lunch with musician John Mayer in a Miami restaurant that opened Friday afternoon just for them, and then the couple spent a lengthy dinner together Friday night.

Also on board: Aniston's ex, Brad Pitt. All are serving on the honorary advisory board of Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, not to mention Cox's husband David Arquette and fellow couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale – and Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker.

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare and debilitating genetic skin condition that primarily affects children. Cox and Arquette are helping spearhead the awareness- and money-raising effort on behalf of research – with a goal of $1 million in two weeks, the Associated Press reports.

Sex and the City: The Movie may put on their Manolo Blahniks for a trip to the Cannes Film Festival. Talk is very preliminary, but there are some ideas being bantered about to have SJP & Co. appear in some capacity at the 61st edition of the international film fest.The festival runs May 18-25, which is a perfect fit for SATC, because our four favorite New York City gals start arriving in theaters May 28. It hits the U.S. two days later.

Meanwhile, SJP had a little bit of a scare earlier today while being photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Vogue magazine, according to a source.They were shooting in a rowboat on the East River under the Brooklyn Bridge when things got a bit rough. Reports say that Jennifer Aniston has been spotted with ex Vince Vaughn at a hotel restaurant and things are looking bright for the former lovers.

A source reveals that the former Friends actress gave the Fred Clause star another chance after an impromptu meeting. Vaughn was reportedly seen joining Aniston and her friends for a night out in Hollywood after seeing them at a hotel restaurant.

"She was obviously thrilled to see him. She giggled quietly at his jokes. She suddenly darted around the table, sat in his lap, and gave him a big kiss," the source says.

An onlooker says the two left together smiling and waving.

A different source claims that the couple have renewed their relationship but decided to keep mum about it.

The Emmy-winning "Friends" star looked at and allegedly intends to buy a unit in 15 Madison Square North, a residential conversion of an office building at 15 E. 26th St. Most of the businesses in the building have left, but there are allegedly a few holdouts such as Harcourt, Dewberry and El Al Airlines. Residential buyers in the 20-story loft building will enjoy services from Abigail Michaels Concierge. At the north end of Madison Square, the building was reconfigured by Dan Goldner Architects.  When Jennifer Aniston announced that she and her one-time beau Vince Vaughn had acted out the 'break up' in real life many wondered exactly when they had announced that they were officially a couple.  There had been reports of engagement rings and upcoming weddings that were always denied, but only slight hints that they were indeed a couple even though most fans knew they were together.

Now a report says Vince Vaughn is back in Los Angeles and the actor is spending his days at the Beverly Hills Hotel.Is he in town to see Jennifer?  Star Magazine details that Jennifer's best friends were at the same hotel at the same time with Vince.

The report first gives a blow-by-blow report of Vince's trip from the UK back to LA.  An eyewitness tells Star that, like most celebrities and VIPs arriving and departing from the international terminal, Vince was escorted by airport police through a private entrance, ushered through immigration, and out a side-door to his waiting private transportation.

Vaughn moved quickly toward a new, black Ford Excursion luxury SUV, with tinted windows and chrome wheels. “The driver was standing at the opened rear door, and Vince was inside in about two seconds flat,” the eyewitness says. By 4:15 p.m., Vince was motoring northbound on the 405 freeway towards Beverly Hills where, another eyewitness says, his SUV turned into the valet-parking area of the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Nest the report notes that on Sunday, Dec. 24, Courteney Cox, 42, and David Arquette 35, made an appearance at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a poolside brunch of salads and chicken breast, an eyewitness tells the weekly entertainment magazine. They were with two acquaintances -- neither of whom was closest friend Aniston.

Kim Cattrall has confirmed that the highly-anticipated feature film version of Sex And The City is officially back on.

Since the series ended in 2004, rumours have been circulating the cast would eventually bring the show to the big screen.

Cattrall, who played sex-mad Samantha Jones on the series, has spent the last three and a half months acting in David Mamet's The Cryptogram in London.

She admits she only found out about the film when she came back to the US.

She tells American publication Star: "I've just come home and there was just this flood of excitement!"

Media reports have claimed the previously planned film fell apart because Cattrall refused to appear with other castmembers, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

Catrall puts the rumours to rest adding: "I'm just so glad we haven't been forgotten!"

LOS ANGELES (December 19, 2006) -- Jennifer Aniston is not appreciating all of the press Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have gotten lately, according to Us Weekly.

After unprecedented in-your-face publicity, Us Weekly says Jen is understandably upset, putting her on the cover of their latest issue with the headline: "Jen's New Pain."

"Just three days after she announced that she and Vince Vaughn had split, Angelina Jolie started this huge press blitz," Us Weekly deputy editor Caroline Schaefer told Access Hollywood.

When Access caught up with Angelina at the premiere of "The Good Shepherd," she said that marriage isn't priority one for her and Brad.

"It's just not as important to us. It's not what we talk about," she told Access.

But the new family blitz started with a Vogue interview where Angelina said she would be open to meeting with Jen saying, "That would be her decision and I would welcome it."

In a separate interview, Angelina told Diane Sawyer she's on the pill and when she talked with Larry King this week, Angelina said her and Brad already have a lot on their plates.

"We have a lot going on in our lives with our children and our work," she said.

But back to Jen, as Us Weekly claims they know how Jen is helping cope with her "new pain."

"One thing that has really helped Jen cope with this onslaught of information about her ex-husband is she's doing a lot of yoga with Mandy Ingber," Caroline told Access. "She practices almost every day. She cries through poses. It's just been very cathartic for her."

Access spoke with Ingber to find out how the yoga is helping the healing process.

"What was it about yoga that interested [Jen]?" Access' Maria Menounos asked Ingber.

"It's such a cool exercise because it connects your mind with your body," Ingber said.

"I think they're becoming a commodity."

There is a rumor (brace yourself, readers) that the latest celebrity hook-up (are you ready for this?) between two random people in the news (make sure you’re sitting down) went down between Kevin Federline … and Jennifer Aniston.

Pick your jaws up off the floors, fans, and consider: each is single. Each may be feeling lonely and bitter. Each has been forced to watch former flames move on in the public eye.

Jennifer Aniston had to threaten to sue to keep long range nude photos of her offline last year.  Lawyers for the actress warned publications that they would face an invasion of privacy lawsuit if they print topless photos of the actress taken while she was apparently sunbathing at her Los Angeles home.

The Jennifer Aniston topless photos were squashed and the sexy American actress was able to keep those pictures from being published.

She was gorgeous topless in her GQ photo shoot when she nabbed the 'Man of the year award, but she posed for those photos and obviously approved of them.

But what does one do when hoax nude photos appear?  These aren't the usual fare that was hitting the web last year but a gal that looks a lot like Jennifer walking on a beach.

It sounds like Jennifer can just grin and bear it.  As opposed to 'bare' it.

In Touch Weekly reports that several blogs are claiming to have a video of a topless Jennifer Aniston walking on the beach. But Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon, gives his professional opinion to In Touch: It's definitely not Jen! "Their faces have an uncanny resemblance," Dr. Youn admits.

"But Jennifer has a slightly smaller chin and a wider space between her breasts."

When a friend showed Jen the video, she wasn't upset - in fact, she even joked that the woman had a great body.

JENNIFER ANISTON has been snubbed in her bid to land a guest spot on her favourite TV drama 24. The former FRIENDS star reportedly put her name forward for a part in the show but producers turned her down flat - because she's "too recognisable".

Executive producer JOEL SURNOW says, "You can't put those people on (the show) because they're too recognisable. They'll take you (viewers) out of the reality."

Aniston wasn't the only big name to be turned down for a role in 24 by producers - funnyman BEN STILLER was also deemed too famous for the show, according to America's TV Guide.

In a report on the magazine's web site the item notes that the feminist author analyzes the love triangle and explains to Us why everyone is still interested.

She was seen in Chicago's Palmolive Building - where Vince's real estate trust just happens to own a penthouse condo.

In an op-ed column to be printed in tomorrow's Morning Call, Lane admits spending time with Vaughn.

Angelina has never really spoken about falling in love with Brad and how their relationship developed. For the first time she is telling all about meeting him on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, falling in love and the life they share with their three kids. She is also speaking a bit about meeting Jen.

Angelina Jolie says she wasn't looking for a relationship when she began working with Brad Pitt on "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," adding that the couple "remained very, very good friends" after shooting the movie.

"I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life [when they met on the set of "Smith"]. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," Jolie said in a revealing interview in the magazine's January issue.

"We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things."

Jolie said she has only briefly met Aniston and would gladly sit down with her - but only of the "Friends" star asked to do so.

"I did [once meet Aniston], but it was not a proper meeting. We've, like, passed each other and said 'hi' briefly, shook hands. But not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting," Jolie said.

"That would be her decision [for a long sit-down], and I would welcome it."

Pitt and Aniston announced their separation in January 2005. Aniston filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce became final in October.

Pitt denied that Jolie was behind the split.

In late April, photos were published of Jolie and Pitt playing in the sand and strolling on a beach in Africa with her 3-year-old son, Maddox, whom she adopted from Cambodia.

An American student has claimed she spent Thanksgiving weekend in Budapest with Vince Vaughn, just a couple of weeks after he split from Jennifer Aniston.

The student, Laura Malory, is currently studying in Europe and sent an email to friends about meeting the actor in Hungary while out in a bar.

She told friends: “I shacked with Vince Vaughn. It was me and him alone in the hotel room.”

“For a while we just had a drink and talked (and yes, we spoke about Jen). Then one thing led to another and obviously we were messing around before too long. We didn’t have sex but it was just as good.”

“We lay in his gigantic beautiful bed with satin sheets, smoking cigarettes and talking about life.”

The stars of Friends are secretly plotting a one-off comeback - for a possible Thanksgiving catch-up episode.

David Schwimmer, Matt Le Blanc, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox have all had varying degrees of success since the show ended in 2004, but now Cox and Aniston have started talking about a return to the sitcom's coffee shop Central Perk - even if it's just the two of them.

Speaking on last night's Access Hollywood news show, Cox revealed she and Aniston "talk about it because we love each other and we hang out all the time", but she urged interviewer Billy Bush not to "make a big deal out of it".

The actress says: "I'm just saying I'm not opposed to it. Jennifer said she's not opposed to it. When we say reunion' (I mean) do a little Thanksgiving episode, sure, why not? What are we all doing? It sounds (like) fun."

Cox accepts the idea of getting all six Friends stars together again might prove difficult.

She adds: "It's a lot of different people to get into the room ... so the chances of it happening are so slim. But would Jennifer and I? Sure, we'll eat some turkey together."

Just hours after Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston finally announced their break-up (Vince’s rep tells Us, “Vince and Jennifer are no longer dating. They remain close friends."), celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted an item accusing Aniston and her rep Stephen Huvane of lying about the split for months (Huvane called reports of a break-up “rubbish,” while Aniston appeared on the cover of People magazine under the headline “Defending Their Love” and went on The Oprah Winfrey Show to insist she and Vaughn were still going strong).

Within hours, Huvane emailed Perez in response and asked for him to lighten up on Aniston, and even brought his other client Kirsten Dunst into the mix. He wrote:

Hey there.

Just saw your item and wanted to correct you. I understand that being mean is your thing and honestly I am not trying to convince you to be any other way. If that's what makes you happy then by all means go ahead and be mean. It's just that if you are going to be mean then try being right. We never told People magazine that Jennifer and Vince were still together. Just do a little research and you will find that we told People.com that Jennifer was not engaged, had not been proposed to, and had no ring.

Your venom towards Jennifer and Kirsten [Dunst] is something I will never quite understand because if you actually knew these two ladies you would really like them.

I hope you will fix your item but my expectations are really low.

The stars came out Tuesday on the Carnegie Mellon University campus.
Film stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Dennis Quaid were on CMU’s campus filming the upcoming movie, "Smart People."
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl welcomed the duo to Pittsburgh with printed proclamations.

When it comes to what they think of Pittsburgh, Parker says, “I think it’s a lovely city. I haven’t had a lot of time to see all the cultural institutions this city has to offer, but the people have been great.”
Quaid says that in addition to playing some rounds of golf at an Oakmont course, he’s also had time to attend a Steelers game.
“They are absolutely the best football fans I’ve encountered,” Quaid says.
In their new movie, Quaid says he plays a miserable English professor who falls in love with a former student played by Parker.

After more than a year together, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have decided to part ways. "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," reps Stephen Huvane and John Pisani tell PEOPLE exclusively.

The statement ends weeks of speculation that Aniston and Vaughn’s relationship has been cooling off. Vaughn has been filming Fred Claus in London since late September, while Aniston has been busy working in Los Angeles and New York.

Despite their distance, both had made efforts to ensure the relationship was still going strong. In October, Vaughn, 36, threatened to sue several tabloid newspapers that alleged he was seen kissing a mystery blonde and had ended his relationship with Aniston, 37. The actress also shot down rumors of a rift on Oct. 11 when she told Oprah Winfrey that the two were still together.

Aniston visited Vaughn in London in late October after spending nearly a month apart. The two took in the London sights and caught a matinee showing of the musical Wicked. The actress returned to L.A. a few days later.

The couple began dating in the summer of 2005 while working on The Break-Up in Chicago. "She's awesome," Vaughn told PEOPLE that June. "She has just a wonderful warmth and likeability about her."

Rumors of a romance began to swirl almost immediately when they started filming – especially after the costars appeared touchy-feely at the film's wrap party last year – but both insisted they were just friends.

Aniston told Vanity Fair, "I adore Vince Vaughn, but I'm not going out with Vince Vaughn." Vaughn told Katie Couric on the Today show at the time, "(Jen's) been great, and we've been having a great time shooting the movie. But that's really been the extent of it."

But by that fall they were back in Chicago, near Vaughn's Lake Forest hometown, where they were spotted kissing and cuddling at various bars and restaurants – and even having lunch with his mother, Sharon, and stepfather.

Though they never publicly discussed their romance, the couple were soon deflecting wedding rumors. In April, Aniston called in to The Oprah Winfrey Show to deny a tabloid report that Winfrey was planning an $8 million wedding for her and Vaughn.

"(The rumors) are so unbelievable," Aniston told Winfrey. "It sounds like you're giving me Santa Barbara." Asked if she had anything to announce, Aniston said, "No wedding, no moves, no, no."

A few weeks later, Vaughn himself joked to Winfrey, "I'm expecting a pretty good band for $8 million." He also told the talk-show host, "Jennifer's great. She's one of my favorite people. ... She's just really smart and funny and easy to be with – very considerate. She's great."

This past summer, the couple traveled to The Break-Up premieres all over the world, and, although they avoided being photographed together on the red carpet, were seen taking a romantic boat ride in Paris, catching a Cubs game in Chicago and visiting an aquarium in Sydney.

"Vince and Jennifer are the real thing," a Vaughn friend told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of The Break Up in May. "They're both in a really great place."

Aniston herself said on the red carpet that night, "I'm just happy. There's no reason to be anything else, is there?"

But in August, Aniston told PEOPLE that published reports that the couple were engaged were "insane" and that "people are getting fed a lot of bull."

After doing a well-received stint in the 6th Annual 24 Hour Plays on Broadway benefit in October, Aniston has been back in L.A. Vaughn will be shooting Fred Claus in London through this month.

We have some interesting news out of the UK,we don't know if it's true or if it's another rumor.

The rumor is that in the Holy Moley UK gossip weekly email to subscribers (a big, well known UK gossip communication) that Jennifer was visiting the set of Fred Claus in the UK last week and that she is obviously pregnant.

So we are not very sure,there hasn't been a lot of talk about this,we'll just have to wait and see what happens and maybe we'll be able to get some candids and see for ourselves if Jen does looks pregnant.

Jennifer Aniston has laughed off reports she is planning to become a contestant on TV talent show Dancing With The Stars. Recently it was reported Aniston was in talks with TV network ABC to compete with other celebrities on the hit show, which is based on British BBC program "Strictly Come Dancing."

However, Aniston's representative tells the New York Post newspaper, "There's absolutely no truth whatsoever to that story."

An amazing stir was caused over the summer when it was reported that then Jennifer Aniston beau Vince Vaughn had purchased a huge rock for the wedding ring finger of his All-American beauty.  There were denials all around and Jennifer was never photographed with the ring.

But a new report claims now that it is she that has made the purchase of two wedding bands and neither is for Vince.

According to In Touch Weekly Jennifer has purchased two wedding bands - one for her and one for her bestest friend Courteney Cox.  The report in the weekly entertainment magazine claims that while shopping at Barneys in Beverly Hills on November 11 Jen fell in love with a $9,000 Cathy Waterman diamond and platinum wedding band.

The magazine says she grabbed one for her and one for Cox.

According to the item, she got the idea from one of her other friends,Oprah Winfrey. Oprah did the same thing for her pal Gayle king and it is reported that Jen has followed suit. 

An insider tells the mag, "Oprah gave Gayle a similar ring and Jen loved the idea and wanted to do the same for Courteney."

Vince is currently working hard in London on his latest movie, Fred Clause, but has a little side project going on back in the states as well. Apparently he just purchased a massive penthouse worth $9 million on Michigan Avenue, and an apartment worth $6 million below for his mom. Rumor is Jen has been there to check on the progress of the work being done to the units. She was recently there to visit Oprah."The name on the lease is only his," the source said.Sounds like Vince bought a huge penthouse that will have plenty of room for Jen and maybe even a family some day!

Hollywood prankster Ashton Kutcher has vowed to fulfil a long-standing bet and go on a date to Pizza Hut with his teenage crush, actor Jennifer Aniston.

Kutcher has a couple of hurdles to overcome, including convincing his wife, Demi Moore, and Aniston's boyfriend, Vince Vaughn, it is a good idea.

Aniston also might need some convincing, as she has already spurned one date with Kutcher.

Kutcher's desire to date the Friends' star came from a $US1,000 ($A1,270) bet he made as a teenager with a friend in his hometown of Iowa.

"I'll tell you, that date will happen," Kutcher told reporters in Los Angeles while promoting his new action film, The Guardian.

"I will have to ask my wife for permission, but that date will happen."

Kutcher made the bet when he was an unknown, but his rising career in Hollywood with films and two hit TV series, That '70s Show and celebrity prank program Punk'd, gave him the opportunity to ask Aniston out on a date.

At the time Aniston was married to Brad Pitt and Pitt had no problem with it, but Aniston stood Kutcher up.

"I asked him for permission to ask her and he said, 'Yeah cool. I'll film it'," Kutcher said.

"We had a date set up to go to Pizza Hut and then when it came time, she didn't want to go.

"I was serious and I think she thought I was joking.

"It's not about the 1,000 bucks.

"It's about saying you're going to do something and doing it."

Australian actress Nicole Kidman is Hollywood's leading lady when it comes to her salary, according to The Hollywood Reporter's annual Star Salary Top 10.

The star has claimed the top spot on the new list thanks mainly to the paycheck she'll receive for next year's sci-fi blockbuster 'The Invasion.'

Six of the top 10 women on the list are Oscar winners, with only 'Charlie Angel's' stars Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Aniston yet to pick up an Academy Award. (Source)

Matthew Broderick did not want children when his wife Sarah Jessica Parker told him she was pregnant - but fatherhood quickly changed his mind. Broderick, 44, married the star in 1997, and the couple’s first child, James Wilke, was born in 2002. The actor admits he had doubts about becoming a father right up to his son’s birth.

He says, “I feel truly blessed and incredibly happy to have my son. You always wonder if it’s a good idea to have a baby. I know I wasn’t sure I wanted one. But I’m shocked at how much I like having him around. Some chemical squirts into your brain and tells you it’s all worth it. You just become overcome with this strange instinct to protect this child.”

Just mention it and her husband, Matthew Broderick, shudders: "I can't do clothes for Sarah, forget it," Broderick says. "She's what they call 'fashionable.' People just give her things with Gucci and Dior on it. I don't think I'd ever buy her an entire outfit. Maybe pajamas with feet."

Well, now that we've ruined SJP's holiday gift, it's safe to say Broderick has Christmas on the brain for another reason. He stars in "Deck the Halls" as a crazy suburbanite competing with his neighbor (Danny DeVito) to do the best holiday lights and decorations on the block.

My son is obsessed with Scooby Doo. You could write Scooby Doo on a card and that would be perfect for him as a holiday gift.

In New York, the photographers follow us everywhere if we go out as a family. If I go out alone, no one cares. Hey, what do you think that means? He [son James] sees these people around us or our faces on TV, but he doesn't like it. He will turn off the TV. I guess he doesn't want to share Mommy and Daddy with anyone. And frankly, we're not Scooby Doo, so why would he want to watch?

There is not much chance that Broderick will become as obsessed in his own life when it comes to holiday decorations. The actor, his wife, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, and their 4-year-old son, James Wilke Broderick, live in a New York apartment.

Decorating is limited to putting up a Christmas tree and hanging a few lights in the window. "When I was growing up, it was hanging lights on the fire escape," the New York City native says. Broderick pauses and then adds: "I guess I should disclose that I am half-Jewish. So it is really half a holiday.

"We have tried to celebrate the Jewish holiday. We get the candles out. But we really don't know how to do it." During the nine years the couple has been married, they have spent Thanksgiving with one side of the family and Christmas with the other.

Broderick expects future holiday traditions in the family will be determined around their child.

The ABC reality tv show  'Dancing with the Stars' has been a hit for the network.  So much so that there are reports of a more frequent rotation for the show.  Now the newest speculation is that the program wants to nab a huge A-list name.

Star magazine is reporting that Dancing with the Stars wants Jennifer Aniston to compete. 

What a catch that would be.

The weekly entertainment magazine runs an item that producers of the show want Jen.   And why not - the American beauty would automatically boost ratings and give the program a shot at huge numbers.

But would Jennifer do it?

Star reports that she is considering it.  Noting that she and Ben Stiller tore up the dance floor in the comedy 'Along Came Polly' the magazine makes the observation that Jennifer has the legs for the competition.

Next -  the report cites a friend that dishes to the magazine, "She's a big fan of the show."  The friend adds that she is actually mulling over the alleged offer and thinks "it would be a hoot."

More than that - it would be a coup for ABC and bring a whole new audience to the ever growing show.  Best guess - Jen takes a pass

As Life & Style exclusively reported yesterday, it looks like the long-awaited Sex and the City movie will hit the big screen because holdout Kim Cattrall is finally taking a genuine interest in the project (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have reportedly been on board since the TV series ended).

Now Candace Bushnell, who authored the book on which the show was based, is also hinting it’s true, telling Life & Style, “That’s what I’ve heard, too!”

When we asked Candace if she really thinks it will happen, she replied, “I think it might! I’m excited!” adding, “I have my fingers crossed.” (Source)

AFTER two years of rumours and denials, of having our hopes raised then cruelly dashed, it gives us pretty much the most pleasure we've ever had to announce that the Sex And The City movie is definitely happening. Yay!

SATC creator (and total genius, in our humble opinion) Michael Patrick King has been officially signed up to write and produce the film - a joint production between HBO and Paramount.

The movie's storyline is still being tweaked, but word on Fifth Avenue is that it will focus on Carrie Bradshaw's long-awaited and much anticipated wedding to Mr Big (played by Chris Noth).

The action starts with the four fashionable friends spread out all over the place.

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is in California, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is in Europe, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is in suburban Connecticut, and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is the only one still in New York City - albeit in nearby Brooklyn.

The four ladies reunite in the Big Apple over a few cosmopolitans to help plan Carrie's Big day (geddit?).

"The movie's wardrobe budget will be in the millions," reveals an insider - talk about stating the obvious.

There was speculation about a big-screen version of SATC - arguably the best television programme ever made - when the series ended in 2004.

But the deal apparently fell through when Kim Cattrall got cold feet following a rumoured feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Since then everyone seems to have kissed and made up, because all four stars have agreed to reunite.

They are currently trying to find time in their schedules to make the movie, which will be filmed - unsurprisingly - in Manhattan.

Understatement of the year: WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Now, what shall we wear to the premiere...

Jennifer Aniston just bought herself a new house in Beverly Hills. The six bedroom property cost a reported $10.6 million (less than half of what she made in one year on Friends) and is just a stone's throw away from bff Courteney Cox! It seems like these two are always in close vicinity to each other -- Courteney got a house in Malibu, then Jen did. Courteney bought in Beverly Hills, then Jen did!

We have pix of the house (currently going through renovations), but there's no word yet on whether or not Vince, who sometimes shacked up with Jen at her rented Malibu pad, plans on moving in with her...

Jennifer Aniston's men will come to blows soon. But while theBreak-up beauty would have loved watching the two actors scuffle to claim their undying love for her, Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn are going to fight it out at next January's (07) 33rd People's Choice Awards in Hollywood after being named Best Leading Man nominees.

 Vaughn is nominated for his role opposite girlfriend Aniston in The Break-Up, while her ex-husband has been honoured for Babel.

The Wedding Crasher star is also considered in the Best Onscreen Match-Up category with Aniston for the same film. They'll compete with Jack Nicolson, Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio in The Departed and Johnny Depp and Keira Knightly in Pirats Of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest.

Johnny Depp, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie Underwood and Shakira lead the nominees for the 33rd annual People's Choice Awards.

Nominees were announced Tuesday in Beverly Hills. Internet research firm Knowledge Networks called on pop culture fans to help determine the nominees. (The public can help choose the winners online at www. Pcavote.com) The CBS TV show will broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 9th.

LIFE: What are your plans for Halloween?
PARKER: I’m sure we’ll end up going out in New York. We have the pumpkins and the candy that James Wilkie [Parker’s 4-year-old son with husband Matthew Broderick] is very excited about giving out. He’s allergic to peanuts, so we buy whatever’s on sale that doesn’t have peanuts. . . . I had a costume all picked out for him the year he was born, but we were still in the hospital. Matthew drew these big eyebrows on [the baby’s] skullcap so James Wilkie actually had a Halloween costume when he was 1 day old.
LIFE: How did you get involved with UNICEF?
PARKER: From as far back as I can remember, [my brothers and sisters and I] trick-or-treated for UNICEF. And we were only allowed to buy UNICEF greeting cards and calendars. When I got older and had an opportunity to give to a charity, UNICEF was the first thing that came to mind.
LIFE: So you feel this universal connection as well as responsibility?
PARKER: I have a completely different relationship to it now. I’m like, “No, I’m sorry. I’m spending the summer with my family.” I worked 18, 20 hours a day when I was married and didn’t have children. That’s over, and it’s so great.
LIFE: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were in the news a few months ago for their philanthropy. They reportedly raised $4 million for several children’s charities by selling pictures of their newborn daughter, Shiloh. How do you feel about that?
PARKER: [Angelina] seems to be someone who spends a lot of time thinking about pretty substantial things. But there’s such a loss of critical thinking in this country. She’s given an enormous amount of money—and yet there is still interest in the really superficial.
