Sooo...this is where you can notice all the funny stuff the Cats do in the background. There's some of the editing mistakes on this page too.

JELLICLE SONGS FOR JELLICLE CATS Top
+ When the first Cats onstage are doing that "Jellicles can and Jellicles do," thing with their knees, the first time Munkustrap is behind.
+ When Etcetera sings her line "Are you keen to be seen..." the shadow of the trapeze is visible across her leotard. screenshot
+ When Etcetera swings across the stage on the trapeze, you can see the stagehand's arm pushing her out (according to Mystitat this is Admetus). screenshot
+ Tumblebrutus' voice is really deep in the prologue but not anywhere else in the show
+ In close shots of the Tugger, you can see the buttons on his unitard that hold the mane on. Screenshot
+ On Jennyanydots' high C when they're in the pyramid on the tyre, Pouncival and Mistoffelees hold their ears.
+ Jennyanydots takes the boot from the stage, but Munkustrap had to run round it and go extra fast to catch up with the others! Screenshot
+ Victoria has a smudge of dirt on her leg. Screenshot
+ In the last pose, Electra wobbles.
+ “Jellicle’s do and Jellicle’s would” 4:16 Grizabella exits- right.
+ ‘Younger’ Old Deuteronomy- lighter coat, Grizabella- clean make up- basic version without greying and smudging, and Tugger- without mane, different wig and dance shoes.
+ Etcetera on trapeze- there’s a thick belt around waist- safety belt. There are safety cables coming from the trapeze, which would secure onto that. Screenshot
+ Watch Mungojerrie’s face just as the cats form into the Jellicle choir group. Can't really describe the expression- nods head? Cocky ?
+ During the ‘Jellicle choir’, especially just after the boot has landed, everyone has an interesting expression- too many to list, but two which jumped out at me were Admetus and Mungojerrie.
+ Mungojerrie and Old Deuteronomy glance at each other and nod. “singing at astronomical height”
+ As the Cats run out, Etcetera joins them for the first time from the side.
+ There's a mystery cat in these first two pieces! She is red and tabby and is played by Elaine Paige, before she is Grizabella, but the cat isn't named and doesn't get credited. screenshot
+ But for a couple of shots, you can see this pre-Grizabella is being played by someone else [Dance captain Beth Robinson] screenshot
+ Cassandra's eyes change colour from brown to blue. screenshot

+ Mungojerrie forgets to sing at first
+ “But above, and beyond, there’s still one name left over” Mungojerrie suddenly decides to look at a second camera.
+ When Victoria is right in front of the camera, the others behind her are desperately playing for the camera (Mungojerrie raises his eyebrows).
+ In shots of the middle group, Rumpelteazer is holding her head sideways so she’s in the shot.
+ Pouncival has a visibly sweaty face Screenshot
+ “Jellicle cats come one, come all” Admetus does a quick sideways kick.
+ “Jellicle moon shining bright” Etcetera does a roll behind Victoria and Misto
+ When Munkustrap rubs cheeks with Alonzo, Cassandra's hand is right in front of them and in front of the camera.
+ When the kittens put the mouse masks on, Jemima, who is at the front, can't get it on the first time and has to take it off and put it on again, quickly!
+ Watch Rumpleteazer in the begining. She pretends she has leopard spots, and then she falls down flat pretending to be the mat.
+ When Jenny goes underneath Munku's legs, her coat is so big it knocks his legs and makes him wobble. (This is hard to spot!)
+ Jennyanydots comes downstage (on the line, “In bed and asleep..”) watch the kittens chase Jenny's tail.
+ When the cockroaches come out, the top button of Jenny's coat comes undone and flaps around Screenshot.
+ When Demeter, Bombalurina and Jellylorum are sidestepping with their hands over their heads, Jelly and Demeter are in different positions, Jelly has her legs apart while she steps and Demeter has her legs together.
+ Jellylorum has to pull really hard to get Jenny's boot off while they're taking her big top layer off.
+ Throughout the tap dancing, shoes keep switching from their normal character color to black tap shoes betweens shots especially Rumpelteazer.
+ When the cockroaches bow (when they're all in a line), watch Mungojerrie at stage left. He bows once, then stays with his back to the camera and scratches his butt with his fork!
+ When they come out of the line, someone runs to the back of the stage and jumps onto the boot. Then in the next shot they've disappeared.
+ Right after Jenny says "Thank you my dears" and the cockroaches leave the stage, Pouncival magically appears sitting on the steps to the tyre.
+ You see Skimbleshanks and Asparagus prepare to leave the tyre but split second later they're already in the middle of the stage with Jenny.
+ In the establishing shot, Mungojerrie is between Victoria and Etcetera (right of Mistoffelees). In any further shots, he is beside Rumpelteazer. Screenshot1,2
+ Just before Mistoffelees opens the trunk, he and Munkustrap give a little signal nod towards each other.
+ When Jenny rolls out of the trunk, you see the tap dancing costume.
+ “… in bed and asleep, she tucks up her skirts…”- Rumpelteazer does this cute bouncy walk off the stage to get the beetle stuff on. But in the next shot, she is still visible, just about to go off again. Screenshot 1, 2
+ Watch the three Queens doing their actions when the 4 ‘mice’ are on. The ‘mice’ themselves, probably being blind, have their own routine of hand movements.
+ There is a cut where the beetles in the 4 X 3 formation get into the line.
+ Before Tugger says his first "meow" spit flies out of Munku's mouth
+ Pouncival does a backflip off the tyre when Tugger says his second "meow"
+ When the Tugger kicks the soccer ball at the car boot, Mistoffelees flinches and ducks.
+ If you watch the boot only in this whole song, there's always Cats appearing and disappearing from it. It's quite disturbing after a while...
+ Plato has strapped tape on his fingers. Screenshot.
+ Watch Plato dancing to the right of the screen while Tugger does the "I'm always on the wrong side of every door" verse...he's doing the same moves as the girls but he looks SO funny and exaggerated!
+ Around the time Bombalurina sings in Tugger's song, Jennyanydots and Jellylorum are appearing and disappeaing from shot to shot (should be sitting on the boot with their cross-stitch).
+ Also at this time Rumpelteazer magically appears on the boot, grinning and bouncing. Skimbleshanks says something to her and she suddenly stops and looks serious.
+ Jenny and Jellylorum's needlework is of a kitten!
+ When Tugger goes to Demeter by the oven, when he moves away you can see Coricopat in the corner of the screen, watching them with a grumpy expression! Screenshot.
+ When all the cats are dancing forward in a big line, Victoria and Jemima were talking at the back of the stage, and have to run to the front of the stage to get in line. Screenshot. Electra and Tantomile are grinning at Victoria, who also isn't singing! Screenshot.
+ At the end, when Tugger sees Grizabella come in, watch his lips! If you look carefully, it looks like he mouths, "F**k you"! I can't figure out whether he actually says this, but that's what it looks like!
+ Where all the beetles have gone offstage to get changed, Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer hang round to watch Tugger for a little while. Screenshot
+ Watch Etcetera’s reaction just after Tugger ‘pushes’ Bombalurina away!
+ Watch Admetus sitting on the tunnel when Tugger does his “about”. At first, he’s got his leg draped over the tunnel, then… well, watch. Screenshot
+ At the end of the song, Rumpelteazer is leaning on the trunk. After the cats follow Tugger around the stage, she makes a quick exit just as Girzabella comes on stage.
GRIZABELLA: THE GLAMOUR CAT Top
+ There is a little argument going on in the background between Tumblebrutus and Plato. Watch their faces a little later when Pouncival approaches Grizabella.
+ Watch Alonzo and Cassandra getting ‘cosy’ with each other during Demeter’s verse. Screenshot.
+ See the hate in Mistoffelees’ eyes at the end of the song. Screenshot
+ Bustopher has fish skeletons on his cravat.
+ Pouncival is sitting on Plato's shoulders! Skimbleshanks seems to be trying to hide this from Bustopher. Screenshot.
+ Pouncival does a really cute bow when he's kneeling in front of Skimbleshanks!
+ As Mistoffelees slides towards Bustopher's tail, watch Etcetera. She's saluting Bustopher very cutely!
+ Watch Munkustrap's face as Mistoffelees is about to yank Bustopher's tail. He notices Misto before Bustopher does and rushes to try and distract Bustopher!
+ You can see Skimbleshanks rushing around in the background with the huge top-hat on his head.
+ When he sings 'drink at the drones', Pouncival and Tumblebrutus roll sideways into the shot. Tumble then waves at Bustopher, very cutely!! Mistofelees looks outraged.
+ Mistoffelees seems to be comically imitating Bustopher - and agreeing exaggeratedly with everything he says! At the same time Munkustrap is obviously trying to get into Bustopher's good books by REALLY agreeing with everything he says!!
+ When everyone sings the chorus, watch Skimbleshanks and Plato on the right of the screen - Skimble extends his arms a lot, and nearly hits Plato in the face!
+ When the toms are having their hands inspected, look at Coricopat after Bustopher passes him; he seems to sink with relief that Bustopher found nothing wrong with him.
+ When Bustopher’s sitting on the hat, watch Admetus behind him. When Bustopher nearly falls off, Admetus’ face is just priceless. Screenshot
+ Skimbleshanks ‘ahh’ becomes very comical when Bustopher sings “And just before noon”
+ At “grown unmistakably round”, watch Bombalurina. She looks decidedly lost/blank.
+ At the Macavity scare, Etcetera does a little wig shake up.
+ Listen closely when Rumpleteazer first enters. When she motions for Mungojerrie to follow, you can hear her say, "Come on!" (You may need to turn up the volume!)
+ At the beginning, where they sing "quick-change comedians", Mungo puts his finger up by his face in a 'smile' position. But he isn't smiling, he looks quite sad actually!
+ Mungojerrie kicks one of the bags behind him on the line, “Knockabout clowns...”
+ After they have sung "We are incurably given to rove!" and done the leapfrog, they change positions to the next scene! They shift right across the stage. This is where they cut out the middle of the song to make it shorter.
+ When they are sitting and turning, singing about the joint missing from the oven, Mungo's foot hits Rumpel's leg.
+ Watch the leap Mungojerrie does over Rumpelteazer- just after the missing section (before the missing Sunday dinner verse). If she gets her timing just slightly wrong, it would be very painful for Drew… And he would probably lose his tongue. Screenshot
+ As the other cats come back on, watch the expressions on the two thieves faces, especially Rumpelteazer. At one point, she looks like she’s going to cry! Screenshot
+ When they all get into line to meet Old Deuteronomy with Munku in front, Pouncival is actually right behind him, but you can't see him at all because Munku is standing and Pounce is crawling! Then, when they all rush forward to meet Old Deut, Pouncival leaps forward, but crashes into Munku's back!
+ Just after Coricopat and Tantomile sing “I believe it is Old Deuteronomy,” watch Plato and Jemima in the background. They're all over each other! This goes on for a good fifteen seconds or so until Jennyanydots turns around, sees them, and breaks it up.
+ Admetus stands up to go greet Old Deuteronomy, but he is hindered by Plato stepping on his tail! Screenshot (From Randomninity)
+ Watch Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer on the trunk. The first- “my mind may be wondering” Mungojerrie lays his head on Rumpelteazer’s lap. Their positions jump around a bit in different shots afterwards. In Munkustrap’s close up, you can see Mungojerrie really panting in the background (they’re lying down). In the shot after, Mungojerrie’s lying on Rumpelteazer again.
+ At “Before Queen Victoria’s”, you can see Tugger amble into position just in time for his solo.
+ When all of the cats have their arms or legs in the air, watch Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer. They’re doing the same thing, but with each other. Screenshot
+ At “sits in the sun” all the cats are in interesting stretches, but Alonzo’s is the most amusing of all. Screenshot
+ Electra ‘hugs’ Munkustrap’s leg.
+ At the end of the song, when Munkustrap is explaining about the ‘Jellicle Choice’, Rumpelteazer has her hand in the air, as if asking a question. Screenshot
+ At around the same time, Mungojerrie keeps nodding his head.
+ Just before "Pekes and the Pollicles," on the line, "On the night we make the Jellicle choice," watch Electra and Pouncival in the foreground. Electra is climbing on Pouncival's back and he turns around and smiles at her. It's so cute!
+ when the cats are getting into place for the beginning, Jemima does a backward roll but gets stuck upside down!! Screenshot then when she comes back up, she crashes into Mungojerrie. Screenshot
+ While Munkustrap is singing at the beginning, after Misto and Skimble have crossed the stage, Electra comes onto the stage. It looks rehearsed, but there is something white on the stage in front of her, which she could be coming to get, perhaps someone's leg or armwarmer? screenshot
+ At the beginning, you can see that Victoria isn't Phyllida Crowley Smith but Jo Bingham (Etcetera). They alternate through the first verse or so. Screenshot
+ In the first few verses when Munku is onstage alone, he keeps gasping for breath quite loudly between his sentences.
+ When Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer are centerstage with Munkustrap and they spin around, Munkustrap adjusts his armwarmer. Screenshot
+ When Rumpelteazer leaves the stage, you can see her arguing with Jenny, until Jenny sort of pushes her back onstage and she goes under Munku's legs.
+ When the Cats being Pollicle Dogs come out with shoeboxes on their heads, Tumblebrutus gets a bit lost and is marching around the stage in the opposite direction to the others! Then, as they go offstage, Admetus bops him on the shoebox!
+ Through the whole song, Pouncival is wearing his shoebox hat backwards! Note that the ears on his are in the front while all the other toms have theirs in the back. Also, you can tell that it's slipping backwards to stay on his head. (Maybe he did it on purpose? To look like a tuff gangstah Pollicle?) Screenshot From Randomninity
+ When the Tugger is playing his Scottish pipes, Misto is doing a little highland jig. When he finishes with a last twirl, his big black shoe comes off and skids across the stage! Then as the Poms come forward, they step on it and Electra kicks it off the front of the stage. Then Misto keeps changing from having one shoe and two! screenshot
+ On the Huffery Snuffery lines, Jennyanydots and Pouncival are marching behind the lines as if rallying their troops!
+ Just after Munkustrap sings 'bars of the area' Alonzo's bottom lip wobbles as if he's so scared he's about to cry.
+ Just before all the Cats move downstage to welcome the Rumpuscat, Pouncival in the right of the screen is pretending to shoot them all!!
+ Just after “Or hairier,” Etcetera and Electra seem to be bowing Buddhist-style to the Rumpuscat!
+ When Munku ducks the Rumpuscat for the second time, he crouches down too early and almost gets hit coming back up!
+ You can easily see the Rumpuscat's wire dangling down his back, which is what he uses to make his hair stand up on end. screenshot
+ When everyone gathers around Old Deuteronomy, Plato grabs Victoria's tail in his mouth! He shakes it around for a while before Old D sings. It's really wierd!! Easier to see in slow motion Screenshot
+ There is a very knowing look on Victoria’s face at “and no one at all, was about on the street,”
+ Mungojerrie is argueing with someone around about when Rumpelteazer is going through Munkustrap’s legs.
+ At “in there huffery-snuffery, heathen Chinese” in the background you also have “Recruit Pouncival, reporting for duty, sir”
+ Mungojerrie gives Munkustrap a death glare when he passes- you have to use slow-motion or freeze frame to see it.
+ Take time to study everyones faces when Munkustrap is holding Pouncival up.
+ Watch the background ‘dogs’ regroup and discuss their attack strategy during the “broad Scottish cousins” part.
+ At the end of the shot before Tugger is on the bagpipes, Mungojerrie points and has a little laugh at Tumlebrutus
+ Pouncival swings his arm along with Tuggers playing.
+ At “huffery snuffery”, Mungojerrie is late in walking forward. When he does, he ‘drags his feet’ and he’s barely moving at all during the barking and Munkustrap’s next section.
+ In the shot where the Rumpus cat flyes in the background, have a look at Creepy twin- he’s got his tongue out, and hes panting! Screenshot
+ Munkustrap’s wig nearly brushes the camera before he starts to yell.
+ When Munkustrap sings “through the bars of the area”, the Rumpus cat makes an action to push himself through the bars - when he does this , watch his hand find the hair raising cable, ready to use for the “hairier” line.
+ At the end of the Rumpus cat song, he has his back turned, and you can see that there is a little hole just below his tail. He also still has his ‘glaring eyes’.
+ When Old Deuteronomy starts singing, before the Macavity scare, several of the cats look scared/cautious. Etcetera has a very confused expression as she looks around.
+ When the Tugger turns up, Etcetera is so excited at being near him that she forgets to sing at first!
+ Tumblebrutus is making fun of all the older toms in his lines of “Jellicle Ball” by imitating them! Then after his "Jellicle Cats are not too big" line, Plato swipes at him, probably to keep him in his place. Poor Tumble looks so hurt!! *huggles him*
+ On the line 'To dance by the light of the Jellicle Moon', everyone spins - except Cassandra. She just stands there looking very out of place.
+ Later in the non-lyrical part, when Alonzo, Mistoffelees and Pouncival are dancing, Tumblebrutus does his entrance-flips without armwarmers, but magically has them in the next shot.
+ After Tumble does the massive backflip, Pouncival's hip-shaking is quite behind Alonzo and Misto's. He catches up though.
+ Just after Bombalurina steals the stage from Misto, watch Etcetera as she dances toward stage-left: I swear she kicks herself in the head (this one has to be seen on the video to be believed).
+ As the toms have lifted the queens and carry them offstage, watch Rumpelteazer on the tyre - she claps Demeter and Plato!
+ Watch Mungojerrie in the background when Tumblebrutus and Mistoffelees are dancing. He escorts Victoria down the stairs in a very gentlemanly fashion.
+ After Victoria and Plato's bit, when they all come into the middle, Etctera is doing this cool stag elbow-stand! The thing is, in the next shot which is half a second later, she has somehow changed to lying on her back on the floor.
+ It's really hard to explain where, but Teazer's tail belt is falling apart screenshot. (from Randomninity)
+ At the same time as Etc's elbow stand, Tumble, Pouncival and Alonzo are doing handstands. Except Alonzo's looks more like a scorpion...
+ Have a look at Munkustrap’s expression when he’s guarding Old Deuteronomy. At first he’s got his teeth bared, but then nothing happens, and he looks very confused at this lack of activity. He’s still got this lost look when he surveys the two kittens just before he joins in the routine with them. Screenshot
+ Look at the exit where Victoria comes on stage- you can just see Mistoffelees standing in the wings.
+ Watch Mistoffelees during the line “Jellicle cats are rolly polly”- he rolls his eyes, and both Misto and Skimble have a look of disgust on their faces! Screenshot
+ Check out Alonzo and Jemima in the background of “Jellicles dry between their toes”. Screenshot
+ The Creepy Twins look very annoyed when Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer have their line. Screenshot
+ All of the cats in the background bob up and down with the “jumping jack” line.
+ Everybody brings their arms forward when Cassandra sings “Jellicle cats have moon-lit eyes”, most have almost confused looks on their faces. Screenshot
+ At 50min, the cats are doing different things in small groups. In the right back group, Mungojerrie completely forgets to turn one way, and only does so when he sees the others in his group have already done so- quite ammusing to watch.
+ As Mistoffelees does a little solo dancing bit, Alonzo does a little bit of ‘swimming’ in the background. Screenshot
+ Mistoffelees, Tumblebrutus and Alonzo are furious- when they do the hip shaking. Misto bares his teeth! Screenshot
+ As Bombalurina steps into the spotlight, Misto and Tumble march off, but then stop suddenly and turn to watch her, both looking mesmerised by her.
+ As the Toms come forward to dance with the Queens, look out for Rumpleteazer and Electra in the background, rocking side to side.
+ Tugger has a bit of difficulty holding Bombalurina, and he’s straining a bit when he puts her down.
+ Just after everyone does the hands stretching at face level thing, Mungojerrie gives Rumpelteazer a little spin.
+ At the beginning of the Mating Dance, Rumpelteazer crawls towards Tugger, who brings his hand up to her face.
+ Have a close look at the pairings- lets just say they are very, er, random (apart from the two obvious pairs)
+ When Victoria and Plato are in the center, doing their thing, Munkustrap respectfully looks away. And everyone else are watching them intently!
+ Have a look at Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer during the Mating Dance- the expressions on their faces are getting pretty wild!
+ At around 55min, all the cats bend low to the ground, bar one- Mungojerrie. Everyone has their backs in a horizontal-ish position, but he’s fairly vertical. He also isn’t as low as everyone else when everyone is spinning around Old Deuteronomy at 52min. See Skimbleshanks section.
+ At 56min comes a group of 5 kittens: And they do this really adorable dance. Screenshot
+ When these 5 come forwards, there is a new section of music, and there is a close up on Victoria, which pulls out to reveal a lot more cats on the stage then there were a second before. Screenshot
+ Tugger heads a group of 5 males who comes forward. Mungojerrie has an unusual expression on his face. The two at the back, Mungojerrie and Admetus, run to the back stage left exit, and don’t return till right at the end of the music.
+ Right at the end of the whole dance section (before Grizabella comes on), have a look at the back exits to the stage- the rest of the cats are being brought back on to the stage bit by bit, till their all on just before the song ends.
+ Right at the end of the dance section, the cats slide. Where Etcetera ends up, she is facing the exit where Grizabella approaches, and Etc turns around to go towards Old Deuteronomy after everyone else. She saw Grizabella come onto the stage.
+ At “you see the border of her coat”, notice that Jenny is not played by the same performer.
+ This is for 'The moments of Happiness': Grizabella can be seen on the bumper of the car after Jemima sings her solo. Screenshot --From Joey
+ In the entire first verse of “Skimbleshanks,” watch the female kittens. They imitate Skimble's movements quite cutely.
+ When Skimbleshanks sings about how the station masters' daughters would be searching high and low, Coricopat and Tantomile look up and down.
+ On “It's certain that he didn't approve,” watch Cassandra give Electra the look of death.
+ When everyone sings, “And he gave one FLASH of his ...” Watch Skimble's feet. On the word “Flash,” he steps on Asparagus's foot.
+ Watch how Tumble catches Asparagus - it's so CUTE!!!! <3
+ Rumpelteazer appears to be pretty mad about something...maybe Skimble freaks her out! Screenshot
+ Just as the Cats are lying on the ground listening to Skimble sing, Cassandra adjusts her tail.
+ Tumble and Asparagus are sitting on the tunnel and they look so CUTE!!!!
+ When the cats sing "to know that they wouldn't be bothered by mice" Skimble catches a pretend mouse and gives it to Old Deuteronomy...who then puts it down his sleeve!!
+ Etcetera shows off her gymnastics Screenshot

+ When Skimble's train is going, Munkustrap and Alonzo who are holding the big wheels, have to keep kicking them to keep them going. (they may have to do this because the wheels are too heavy to turn with their wrists.)
+ Watch Cassandra just after Skimble sings “...to catch a flea!” She picks a flea out of Tumblebrutus' ear and eat it!
+ When Skimble's train falls apart, all the Cats have fallen over with various bits of train, except Jenny, who pops up in the middle of the mess behind Skimble and laughs!
+ The kittens land in the wierdest positions under the train...here's Jemima and Tumblebrutus, so cute!! Screenshot
+ Exotica is sitting next to Jellylorum by the tyre. She keeps changing costume!! First she's brown as usual, then she keeps changing from brown to a kind of peachy colour! screenshot.
+ Just about the only time Tantomile smiles in the whole thing...she looks so happy!! Screenshot
+ Skimbleshanks at first climbs onto Alonzo's back, but in the next shot he's standing behind him. screenshot.
1:16:40 In the shot of Etcetera doing her thing for “station masters daughters”, Rumpelteazer can be seen with an arm, probably Mungojerrie’s, around her shoulders. However, in all other shots, there is no one of that colouring near her, and Mungojerrie is on the other side of the stage.
1:16:43 At “high and low”, Etcetera and Rumpelteazer do funny movements to ‘search’ there!
1:16:47 Etcetera has a scratch at her wig. You can see it moving!
1:16:48 Rumpelteazer does this funny little leg arch/movement before she gets up

1:17 In the first group of cats ‘train’ that goes round, Cassandra is slightly out of time. She catches up, but becomes a little separated from the rest of the group.

1:20:44 There is a string of inconsistencies concerning Mungojerrie during the end part of the Skimble song. Firstly, he only just managed to form onto the end of the second cats ‘train’ formation.
1:20:45 Then, in wider shots of the ‘train’ going round, Mungo isn’t there- Pouncval is alone at the end. (31), but on closer shots, he is there (and he’s slightly behind!)
1:20:52 Then, when the ‘train’ cats slide, Mungo appears to come onto the stage from the right, along with Alonzo for form the steps for Skimbles end pose. (32) He appears to brace himself very carefully.
1:21:07 In the final pose, Mungo is nowhere to be seen. The person who is now the first ‘step’ is Asparagus, and Skimble is standing behind everyone, where as in another shot he’s standing on Alonzo, with one foot being supported by Munkustrap. (34) (There’s a nice little bit of cinematography placing Rumpel directly in front of the formation, blocking your view, but it can be seen.)
+ When the lights go off just before the actual 'Macavity' song, when the cats are all grouped together, watch Munkustrap's feet. He takes one step too many backwards, kicks Electra, and does a funny little hop.
+ Watch Demeter's black leg-warmer througout “Macavity”: between shots it alternates between being smooth and nice, and all scrunched up at her ankle.
+ When everyone is singing "Macavity!" near the end of the song, Demeter forgets to sing and makes a big 'oops' face!
+ Right after the final pose, watch Jennyanydots and Jellylorum enter from stage left. There must be a slippy bit because Jenny skids along the floor, but Jellylorum gets it worse - she falls over backwards! In the shots after you can see her get up and limp offstage O.o
+ When Macavity comes on dressed up as Old Deuteronomy, and Demeter charges at him, you can see some more Etcy-gymnastics!
+ When Tugger goes onto the car boot you can see Macavity's Old Deuteronomy mask.
+ While Tugger sings, Munkustrap, Demeter, and Bombalurina are shown in close-ups sitting on the tyre, but when the camera is on Tugger, they're not there. Just as Mistoffelees is about to enter, Demeter and Munkustrap even hop up onto the tyre.
+ When Misto begins his solo dance, right after he bolts Vicky, he shakes his butt and you see Ectetra in the back shaking her head with it (From Emily)
+ When Mistoffelees says "Presto!" and lights up the stage, there's a HUGE camera-guy wearing a red shirt up the right side of the screen!Screenshot
+ Does Misto really have a hidden grudge against Pouncival?! Screenshot
+ The third time Misto points at the stage, the flash doesn't go off! He looks at his fingers and tries again, and this time it works. Mistoffelees is only learning to use his magic still. It's so cute!
+ As Misto searches for a volunteer, the kittens beside Tugger bounce up and down wanting to be picked, and look all dissappointed when he doesn't pick them!
+ When Misto picks Cassandra, Pouncival is doing a cute headstand beside Tugger (From Emily)
+ It's really, really obvious that Old Deuteronomy is crawling out from the tunnel under the red cape. For one thing, Cassandra isn't that big!
+ This is actually for "Up to the Heavyside Layer". At first, the hydraulics under the rising tyre are hidden by the dry ice, but later it stops gushing out and the hydraulics are really visible.
+ When Old Deuteronomy starts singing, Munkustrap climbs up to the wooden arch beside him, opposite to where the Tugger is. Unfortunately, he blends in so well with the shadows that he is practically impossible to see!
+ Poor Old Deut is singing under a super-high-intensity spotlight with a massive fur coat on and his make-up starts to melt. Luckily he has dark skin anyway so you can't tell too much!
+ In the voice-overs section, Jemima's name is spelt wrong: Jemmima, with two m's. screenshot
+ Also in the voice-overs, it says Drew Varley and Jo Gibb (Mungo and Teazer) were dubbed by Paul Baker and Vicky Coote. In fact, Baker and Coote only did the giggle and the sssh! in the Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer song and the sneeze in Skimbleshanks. Screenshot same as above
