My aim is to provide for my visitors a place where they can come and read and gain some information and advice. I write with humour and thoughtfulness, and I am passionate about my beliefs.

Who is Jel?

My full name is Janelle Coulton and most people who know me call me Jel or Jelbaby to some, which is the name of my other website. I live in Canberra, Australia, and work full time as an office manager and part time as a writer/editor. I also endorse other peoples work on my site, such as Author; Amy Waterman, as I very much enjoyed reading some of her work. There are links to some of her work further down this page.

I am given many articles and books to read for other people and these people often ask me to promote and endorse their work online.  There are pages here that offer a lot of free reading material. To access the Articles Gallery and Blog's Gallery, there is a link below. 

My aim, however is to provide my visitors with great reading, free stuff and useful information.  I am a funloving type of person who enjoys the home life, and the simple things. I am almost finished my BA (Sociology) which will give me the qualifications to become a counsellor. This has been my dream since I was fourteen years old, as I have always loved helping people (incidentially I am now 40). So a career change is very likely soon.

I have a partner who works as a nurse, and he is my guardian angel. We have two children, a grown daughter and a pre-teen son. We have a dog, a Kelpie called Brody and a cat called Thunder. I love animals, and I love music. Next to writing, music is my deep deep passion, I play guitar and I love to sing.
