Subject: Kiteboarding for Cancer at Hood River this weekend ... looking for contributions.
Hi all,
I just found out about this event at Hood River, Oregon and decided to give it a go in memory of our beloved friend Jeff Simon. Basically, it's an all day kiteboarding endurance race in which you try to do as many laps as possible, and all proceeds go to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. I've signed up as a "fundraising athlete," which means anyone can make donations on behalf of my daring conquest of the epic Hood River winds in Jeff's honor. For more info, check out the event website at http://www.kb4c.org/index.html

Sorry for the late notice, but that's just how I roll.
Cheers,
Nick
